Date Visited: 07/03 - Good Visit
We visit Las Vegs yearly for 2 weeks to satisfy our cravings for sunshine, heat and, of course, gambling. This property is clean, the 1 bedroom apparments just the right size, the staff is friendly but the pool is very small. It's nearby to all the bigger Boulder Highway Casinos. It's a 15 minute drive, by turning right to Tropicana, to the glitz of the Strip or, by turning left, to the old style Fremont St. Casinos....best of both worlds, far and close at the same time. Recommend it to anyone who wants a "relaxed" stay in Vegas.

This place is too expensive. I lived there for 2 years!!! If something in the apartment breaks, you have to pay for it to get fixed. They don't fix it for you. Also, the water was constantly going off, and when it wasn't off, it was hard to get hot water. There were bugs and they won't spray for them but once a year, but it doesn't help anyway. The staff is very quiet and to themselves. They don't really like even saying hi to anyone. Not only all this, but these kind of places are a choice spot for drug dealers because they can move in quickly and move out quickly if they need to, so there are a bunch of them around. All the people that live there (not just stay for a weekend), they are all poor and were constantly begging other neighbors, including us, for money, food, or cigarettes. The cops were there every night (but I don't know why...) And, they'll yell at you for stupid things like having a plant outside in front of your door, but they won't yell at someone for having a dog crap in front of your door. I would stay there again if it was a last resort, but only if that.
