This hotel is great. The room was clean and nice and the hotel staff friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the restaurants and the casino as well. Right on the strip, it's easy access to anywhere you want to go. We are staying there again in February. Great value!

First time staying on the strip and this hotel was perfect for the price and location!!! I was able to walk up and down the strip and hit most of the major casinos from this location. Had lunch at the deli and couldn't beat the price! Both husband and I were able to share the nachos that we ordered and that was enough to fill us up until dinner!!! Had dinner at the Caffe Boardwalk our last night there. I had the prime rib w/crab legs, not bad for the price. Husband had the NY Strip, and basically needed a stick of dynamite to eat it! It was hard as a rock!!!
As far as the Casino goes... small place but was okay. Didn't have the best luck there, machines liked to keep my money, but also let me play for a while.
Overall, we would definitely stay at this hotel again!!!!

The staff was very friendly, OK so the rooms are not the best on the strip but they are decent. I didn't eat there but who cares, you come to Vegas to see everything else. This is a fine hotel for it's value! No it isn't the Bellagio or MGM but given it's location, it's fair amount of amenities and over all it's very down to earth pricing you can't beat it. I've been visiting Vegas for nearly twenty years, at a rate of 2 to 3 times per year, I've stayed in most the hotels on the strip, and I would say at least try the Broadwalk once.

The hotel was certainly clean. People were always cleaning and poliching something. The room was a standard room, they have been refurvished and it was a nice room. The view in this room was the wall of a building next door and thas was all you could see. The Tv reception was horrible but I did not go to watch TV so not important to me. Mostly the staff was friendly. WE played slots and did not win much but still had enough comps for a free buffet for two and some for a purchase at the gift shop. The comps could have been explained
better as they were only worth half at the gift shop, not the full amount and I was lead to believe otherwise. The ladies at the gift shop were very snotty and I would not go back there. (Photo Express) the cocktail waitresses were great and seemed to be always wanting to get us a cocktail, which we let them. We played a lot of nickel and even penny slots and it did not matter. The diet cokes I ordered came in huge cups. The sours and margeritas were excellent. We did remember to tip the ladies and we never wanted for a drink. Overall I felt secure and well treated at this hotel. It was a good value.

The Boardwalk is a good value if you get the casino rate. The wheelchair accessible rooms are nice and large and very accessible. The food in the restaurant is good but avoid the buffet unless it's free. The casino is very small but has a good variety of slots. The staff is friendly and helpfull.

I have stayed at quite a few...MGM, Monte Carlo, Aladdin & Excalibur...and
for the price on a weekend you will NEVER GET A BETTER DEAL THAN
THE BOARDWALK CASINO!!!

Let's look at all the GREAT THINGS...
1.Easy to find and park and unload your stuff...you pull right up to the door
and do your thing.

2.Rooms...clean and comfortable and the view are very nice. (Make sure
you stay in the tower) No there is no jacuzzi tub for two, but how much time
do you really spend in your room?

3.Casino...is small but man I was having so much fun there. They have $3
tables during the day which is really nice, the slots were very generous...I
spent 4 hours on a slot with only $20 bucks in it one night! A plus to being
smaller also it is much eaiser to find your fellow friends and family
running around.

4. Drinks...bigger than most of the other casinos and when you order one
it actually shows up. Many a time I have been in a bigger casino and the
cocktail never makes it back to me :(

5. The Lounge act is very lively and entertaining. I enjoy listening to the
oldies group and the Price Tribute group too.

6. The little Deli...If there is a downfall it could be here. The food is
wonderful once you get it. The prices are great too and I think that is why
they get so busy. If they added a little more help to this spot it would be
better. But the burger was great and so was the shrimp cocktail for only
$1.99, the sizes are BIG!!! Great value for your dollar. (Not so sure about
the salads, looked good but might be a little pricey)

I don't buffet much so I don't know what their buffet is like.

7. For the most part it seemed like a younger crowd howvever it was a well
mixed crowd, probably because the prices are reasonable. Our room was
only $74 a night for the weekend. WOW...can't match that!

They have all the new games and slots....the Sushi bar that is connected
to their building is amazing...made fresh and reasonable again.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION...that is a major plus too. Right on the
strip next to the Monte Carlo. New York and the MGM corner is just a short
walk away. You can hop over the the Monte Carlo and catch the tram
(when working) and it shoots ya down to the Bellagio, where you have
Bally's and Ceasars, and Paris and Aladdin.

The only thing I would say "bad" about it is that maybe it could use just a
little "face lift" the carpet is getting a little old and the rooms could use a
little polish. But I would stay there again in a heart beat.

To rate the overall stay I would give it a 9 out of 10!

Thanks Boardwalk...you are GREAT!

I will never recommend this place for anyone. We tried going to Vegas on a budget but never will again. The air-conditioner in the room didn't work, the water in the shower kept changing from ice cold to extremely hot, it was such an uncomfortable stay. Never again!

Booked on line at I4 Vegas.com. Ordered tower,non-smoking,(instead of standard)
We had late check in (11.30pm. Were told what we had ordered/reserved was not
available! Got an upgrade into a hospitality suite room. Just a very large
room with an extra sofa bed. But not in the tower. The bathroom was recently
remodeled. BUT ! every morning at 7, 8, 9 am when people took showers the water
pipes, virbated very loudly like a muted jack-hammer!! It stopped only when people
finished their shower, (5-10 minutes) Once it was 5.00am.
The pricing was fair considering the location between Monte Carlo & Bellagio.
Anyway I would suggest that you book your room on the hotels website that you want to stay at. That way you will not pay any extra commisions. The same with
air-lines. We did not eat at the buffet (see buffet sections). A small but
fairly good sports/race book. Of course at the front you had the "obligatory"
time share booth. I would not stay there again only because when we go ,we like
to stay a different casinos. But for the money this location was great!

The boardwalk is great.
I have stayed here on three occasions and will visit again. The hotel staff has always been very nice. My first experience was coming in off a long drive on a friday night and being told in other hotels tht no rooms were available. The Boardwalk fixed my son, daughter and I with a room and were very nice about helping us. After that experience I have stayed more often. The staff is very friendly.

The casino is nice, they have beer specials by the door near the sports book. You can't go wrong there. They have a nice lounge "tribute" show (if you like the atrist known as Prince). I do and it was a lot of fun.

The location of the hotel is outstanding. The price for your room - for where you are located on the strip is worth the money. An outstanding value.

We first stayed at the Boardwalk a few years ago when every major Hotel on the strip was booked because of the National Rodeo.

We have stayed there every time since? The reason is convince. You drive right up to the door and the check in desk is there. Car parking is wonderful covered or not but seconds from the door.

The staff is friendly and always very accommodating.

The tower rooms are clean and decorated as well as most.
The view out of the windows is as good as any other expensive hotel.

The best thing is that I always play there before going to bed,
the slots are loose. I earn enough in comps to pay for my room.
Make sure you sign up for their players club.

Purple Rain a tribute to Prince is very-very good and could easily play at any of the high-end hotels.

Got a special rate online, requesting an early check-in due to flight arrival time. Upon arrival, was told I could not check in until 3P.M., but it was 9A.M. and my wife was sick. The girl who told me this was pretty, but rude, unsmiling and unfriendly. She said no rooms were ready, however, a maid showed me a room and told me several rooms were ready, but only the Luna Park rooms were ready. It was a Luna Park room I had gotten the deal on, and was told by the reservation clerk they had been totally remodeled in 2002. When the maid showed me the room, it clearly had not been remodeled, and she said none of the Luna Park rooms had been remodeled. The desk clerk girl described earlier was obviously trying to get me to pay for an upgrade, but if I had been told the truth when I made my reservation, I would have stayed elsewhere. After complaining a lot they FINALLY let me speak to Rodney Calahan, the reservation manager, who gave us an immediate upgrade at no additional cost, and was pleasant and friendly about it. We will be back.

I've been to the Boardwalk three times while attending the Classic
Gamers Expo at another hotel. The rooms are clean, the hbo/showtime
are good. Breakfast buffets is excellent, others are fair. Lunch and dinner
are often the same, but you can pick different foods each time. The
casino is easy to move around in, but "We have all your favorite slots"
often resulted in my favorites being played by someone else. Not much
luck at slots. Less stressful than large hotels. Location is perfect.

We liked this one! The location couldn't be better (well, nearly)... it was definitely the 'low-roller paradise' but no matter, the people were nice and the buffet a good deal at less than $10 for dinner. I wasn't thrilled about being in the back motel-like outbuilding, but it was fine as soon as I realized it was near the pools and right near the other, attached hotel. We had a good time here and didn't pay too much. One thing - and this is for all Strip hotels I think - was that the time-share people were downright annoying, they were pushy and wouldn't leave you alone.

UNREAL!

Low $3 tables....VERY friendly staff...won a bit of money....clean. All in all, very pleasant, and affordable! The rooms were very standard, but for $49 on a Wednesday Night, we got a 16th floor view of The Strip! Food was edible...not great, but not bad!

I beg to differ with Casino Boy (www.cheapovegas.com)....great folks here.

HIGHLY recommended!

Great location for a very reasonable price. Quick check-in/out.
Buffet ok nothing fancy.
Two smallish pools so maybe not the best place for kids although there were plenty of families when I was there. Small fitness room has aerobic machines no weights but no big deal really things like that are just add-ons really. As long as the place is clean and secure I'm happy.
The two live acts were very polished and good entertainment.

Would definately go back again

Good low roller casino. We always stop in to play each time we visit Vegas. The slots are loose, the service good and the overall enviorment friendly. The room was very nice the checkin easy.

We ate at the cafe for dinner what a good value, the prime rib for $8.99 and crab legs $3.99 what a steal and the food is very good. We ate at the Treasure Island bucener Bay the night before, this place was 80% of the experience for about 1/3 of the price what a deal.

This is one of those hidden treasures in Las Vegas a definite must do.

This was my first visit (04/02) to LV & my 1st night in LV. This casino was worst part of the trip.
I stayed at the hotel 1 night. The front desk staff was wonderful. The rooms are clean but small. If you looking for ECONOMY look here. That's all you will get. DO NOT STAY ON THE FIRST FLOOR, I'ts scarry,
he casino and food facilities are horrible. I waited 20 minutes for a burger type item, went back to the counter and was told they had no more of of the product that I ordered. I got a refund and they refunded my money in all change including lots of dimes. I then proceeded to a cashier window to convert my coins. A rude attendant argued with me about converting the change into paper bills because there was dimes in bucket. I was ticked off about this time. I don't think I would return to the casino or recommend to anyone.

Only stayed one night, very nice. The only thing that is a problem at any of the casinos is that they state them to be family oriented, not really so, if you have kids and want to gamble, pretty much a wash. Kind of hard to put a 15 year old in daycare, and cannot let them out on the street by themselves, way too much porno crap being passed out. BUT, the hotel itself is very, very nice and we were pleased to be there!

On a Sunday night when all the other Strip hotels were booked, we were forced with
staying at the Boardwalk. It was somewhat pricey considering the ammenities.
However, it was a place to sleep and we received a Strip view. Not a bad place, but I
wouldn't stay there again unless the price was right and some of the bigger hotels were
full.

I visit Vegas twice a year on average. The Holiday Inn-Boardwalk is a "best kept" secret. You have all you need here at half the cost of the mega resorts.

Just got back a few days ago from Vegas. The Holiday Inn staff was just as friendly as the people in the larger hotel/casino's. In fact, I would venture to say maybe more so. In the mega resorts it seemed that I was just another number standing in line.

Let me tell you other positives about The Boardwalk. The Coney Island/Clown theme is kind of goofy but at the same time brilliant and a little nostalgic. The main thing is that it is unique. You walk thru the casino and out front there is the carnival music, clowns juggling, etc. In a weird way it is refreshing to have something different than the high-tech approach taken by the mega resorts.

Gambling at the HI seemed to be cheaper than the other places. Only $2.00 minimum on roulette table; lots of $5.00 BJ tables; I personally witnessed an older gentleman hit a 1,000 coin jackpot on Elvis machine.

The drinks were very good there. Each morning had a Bloody Mary to start the day....outstanding quality! Positive attitudes from the bartenders!

Saw a little of the Prince show....was excellent. I have seen Trent Carlini before and I believe he is the best Elvis impersonator in the world. We collect Elvis memorabilia (even have an autograph), etc, and Trent is the best impersonator!

Food wise....I am not a big fan of the Surf Buffet. I would recommend their snack bar.....the $1.99 hot dogs were a big hit and not that bad.

All in all....I recommend the Holiday Inn Boardwalk. Great location and friendly casino.

Had a hard time putting any winning streaks together in this casino. The 'Money Multipler' slot was pretty good, but 2 of the 3 machines were broken and no one seemed concerned about getting them back in service. Machines were dirty. Many out of service. Very few attendants. They had a coupon advertising bonus payouts on any jackpot, but when I hit a jackpot, some boss guy comes over and pulls a fast one by changing the rules and refusing to pay the bonus, very poor business. You feel like you are in a much lower class place. Very limited cashier and change windows, and slow service at them. Very poor ventilation in this casino compared to other's, very smoky. The buffet is pretty good, especially the brunch. Good comp payouts for meals. Not too impressed.

Great service, the value was good. I was disapointed to say the least when I found out we were staying at this hotel. Once we were there we had a blast! The location was great I could stumble home from all the hot clubs in the morning and eat across the street at Fat Burger. Then we would spend the rest of our morning clowning around with the dealers, they were very friendly, even the Pit Bosses were really nice. Low minimums on the tables. $0.25 Roulette. I would recomend this place if you want to go to Vegas on a budget! The rooms our bigger than some og the more expensive hotels on the strip. The boardwalk is an over achiever to say the least.

The rooms were spacious, clean and tidy, certainly not upto the 5*hotels but who spends there time in a room at vegas. The casino is small and friendly and I can't think of a better place for the first time gambler to sit down and get aquainted with the gaming tables which can be intimidating at the larger casinos for the novice. The location is near enough perfect and I would say if you are on a budget or you simply don't like to pay hundreds of dollars extra just for fancy fittings & furnishings in your room this is the place to go.
