We have stayed here twice. This is the best hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. Being locals my wife and I like to stay at the hotels in town for little one day getaways. Again this hotel rocks harder than all others we have stayed at. Opulence and awesome rooms, service and luxury set them totally apart from the crowd. I noticed that a lot of the reviewers here seem to think there is a casino involved, they are mistakenly blaming the Mandalay Bay who owns the casino. The Four Seasons hotel is it's own seperate entity only tied to the Mandalay by the leasing of it's top five floors, nothing more. They even have their own entrance, lobby and pool area (although you are welcomed to the mandalay pool area as well) Read between the reviewer lines and if you get a discount here by all means take advantage of it.You will NOT be sorry.

Definitely THE BEST hotel in Vegas, if not in US. Service is just unbelievable. They remember my name and preference at the pool by the 2nd morning. They are attentive, but not annoying. Pools are much quieter & relaxing than Mandalay Bay (even with kids). They hand out free fruits, cold towel at the pool.

Food at Verandah Cafe is better than most top rated restaurants in LV, esp Renoir (and 1/3 cheaper). I would recommend Mandalay Bay casino for those who are not gamblers because dealers & fellow gamblers are much friendlier here. People are here not to win money but to have a good time.

I hate to say this... but Four Seasons pool makes Mandalay Bay pools look like a refugee camp. It's that good & that sinful.

My wife and I have stayed at Four Seasons several times. We will be going back again in June 2003. They have spoiled us!

First of all, let me say that the hotel is a better bargain than it may seem. Yes, the upfront cost is a little higher, but many amenities are free. For example, in most hotels you have to pay for spa usage and pool cabanas. These are no charge at Four Seasons.

The staff is very friendly. When we arrive last August, our plane landed at 9:30 and we arrived at the hotel by 10:00. They knew we were on an early flight and actually arranged for our room to be ready in time! No waiting until "check-in time" later in the day! What other hotel would do that? I realize that something like that may not always be available, depending on room availability, so I'm not suggesting that will happen to everyone, but it sure did make us feel welcome.

As I said, we will be staying there again next month (June 2003), and I plan to write a longer, more detailed report. I'll let you know if things are still as good there or if they are slipping.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel with our daughters (ages 8 and 10) in July 2002. The service was incredible! IF you want a quiet place to stay where you don't have to wait in line for your elevator or walk through a noisy lobby to get to the elevators, this is the place for you. You have all the privledges of Mandalay Bay, PLUS the amenities of the Four Seasons. Very kid friendly.

This place is INCREDIBLE! It will be hard to stay at other hotels because of the precedent this one sets. From check-in, where they upgraded our room to a beautiful strip and desert view to the aromatherapy in the corridor and elevator, to the luxurious pool area where there are enough misters for everyone, I have to say this is the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in- anywhere. They were courteous and polite and made us feel like millionaires the entire stay- especially when we were going for a nice dinner at the Paris and we went out for the valet to get our rental car- needless to say we were dressed to the nines because we were on our honeymoon and this was our big "splurge dinner". Rather than get our car, they offered to take us in the hotel car (no charge)- a huge black Mercedes with tinted windows- so of course we took them up on it! As soon as we got in we were offered bottled water.....These touches made us feel really special and on the same level as any big-wig that stays at places like the Four Seasons.
The rooms were light and soft in decor, the bathroom- can I take it with me? All marble, Separate glassed-in shower, HUGE deep tub- L'Occitaine toiletries, bathrobes, separate toilet room, slippers, sachets for the closets, real wooden hangers. A good sized entryway, mini-bar (we took out their stock and put in our cheese, sodas, etc. and the best was the floor to ceiling windows across the entire wall. From the privacy of our room, my new husband and I watched beautiful sunsets, the strip casinos light up one by one, and those crazy lights on the Luxor!
If you appreciate fine living, it's well worth the money (which is a lot- look for specials and package deals)!
