Date Visited: 08/03 - Bad Visit
We had to leave the pool area because the hotel allowed the maids and their children to have a bbq party in the pool area and to swim. We had to watch them swim and eat. The "charcoal" bbq smell got into our rooms everytime we opened the door. There was no prior notice and it was over 105 degrees at the time. The first group of children(unsupervised by any adult) spilled a beverage on my belongings that was on a lounge chair by the pool. I talked to the desk clerk and the general mgr. I got the response of SORRY...They might be sorry but I'm upset and spreading the word. Maybe they don't know what is acceptable to paying customers but I'll bet those travelers reading this do.
