This was our second stay at the Aquarius and we enjoyed it as much as the first one. The staff is friendly and accomodating. The renovated rooms are very comfortable and a good value for the price. We go to Las Vegas 5-7 times a year but have started coming to Laughlin for quick weekend getaways because of the Aquarius. The casino is fun, food is fine and I encourage everyone to give it a try!!!

We did stay here and we did play here and it was good. The rooms are on the small side but big enough and comfortable.

We are slots players and although we did not win big we did hold our own and had a VERY GOOD TIME. Good drink service even in the low traffic areas where sometime you never see a server.

We had seen the line for the buffet on another visit but this time we decided to eat there and see what the line was all about. The wait was well worth it the food was excellent and the select was also very good. We3 have eaten The cafe on anothe visit and that was also quite good and a very good value. This place is now on our visit again list for Laughlin.

We stayed at the Aquarius Hotel June 8-9 for 2 nights on a $19 rate promotion that we received via mail. For the $19 rate we were assigned a room in the California Tower, Room 8118 (the older, unremodeled tower). The room and bathroom were very clean. The room was very basic, no safe, but did have an old couch and chair along with a view of the pool, the river and the mountains, floor to ceiling windows. The bed was not very comfortable, though. The pool area was not very clean nor was the pool. No hot tub with pool area. The carpeting and room furniture were worn and need remodeling. Housekeeping staff was very accommodating and quickly brought up extra towels and pillows which were requested. We did not eat at any of the property's restaurants nor gamble in this casino. I did not answer a wake-up call on the 2nd morning as I got up before the call and took the phone off the hook so it would not wake the hubby. About an hour later there was a knock on the door and two security guards were checking to see if we were ok--I wonder if they have a security problem? The property itself continues to show its age and needs updating; the entrance into the casino/hotel from the parking garage is kind of seedy and there were obviously some seedy people hanging around the entrance. The property's grounds and gardens also need work; this hotel has really gone downhill during the last 8 years and it appears that the Aquarius management is not putting a lot of money into fixing things up.

Room was fine; Clean with a full length window and view of pool and river. I would not mind staying in one of the new updated rooms but I would not pay $20 extra for it.

I like the layout of the casino with all the tables in a circle and all the machines at the other end.

I feel the buffet was over priced. Beer and wine was included in the price and so we are paying $5 more for something we don't want. If I did drink this would be an exellent way to get a good buzz-on without risking your bankroll.

This is a good property with a better location then others but has no Spa at the pool.

Well, we went for a free two night stay. It wasn't as bad as our last stay but they do things real cheep. All of their slots are cash-less, all you get when cashing out is a voucher. The machines that cash out your voucher are far and few between. I kinda liked hearing cash hit the pan below and going to the cashiers booth and buying coin and cashing out there also. I wonder what the statistics are as to how many people lost their job due to this voucher thing. On the other hand, check in was very fast, housekeeping was very helpfull. The food here was ok, nothing to rave about. Over all we had a good time and won a little money. ( I still preferd the Flamingo over the Aquerius.)

we went the end of Oct for the wifes birthday.
we got a card from them for 2 free nights during the week.
they gave us a room on the 18th floor, new carpet,bed, couch.
casino was tight but it was fun.
We walked along the river and had to watch out for skunks along the water.
no problem staying out of their way. :)
We liked it so much we'll be back for 4 days the end of July 07,

Some people are never happy. What do they want for $27.00 per night. Yes they are changing hotel name and owner (signes were being changed while we were there.) but the staff were very good.Rooms were great.location very good.WE will be back.

Had a really good time won some money close enough that you can drive to the Grand Canyon and back in one day. The rooms really need some work, the carpet in our room(smoking) look like it hadn't been cleaned since they put it in. New owners took over in May so maybe they will spruce it up some.

I stayed at the Flamingo while taking flight training on the river and lake. People at the Flamingo were very friendly and helpful in every way. Valet was friendly and quick. Rooms were clean. No Hi-Speed internet. Calls were about $6 per hour. Diner at about 6 a.m. was a little slow. It is not a premium LV Strip hotel but it is well worth the money.

I just got back from the worst weekend vacation of my life. While the Flamingo Laughlin upgraded me to a top floor suite for free *price $15.00*
I made the mistake of eating at their buffet. I now know what food poisioning is. If i had avoided thier buffet the first night i would have had an excellent trip i'm sure. Laughlin seems like a cool town. But not being able to leave the room for 2 days and having to live off of water/7-up/apple juice made this a trip i'll never forget for the wrong reasons.

The staff at the flamingo was very nice and accomidating to my sickness. I would be very careful visiting their buffet...

We flew into Vegas on the 18th of December and the next day made the one hour fifteen minute drive from Henderson to Laughlin. We were very impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff were at the Flamingo. It is a well kept property with a very convenient location on the River Walk.
The room was pleasant and clean with a nice view of the river for only $32.00 a night. Food prices are very reasonable and good quality.
The poker room was small but friendly. They have a nice No Limit Tournament every morning. There was a short wait for a seat in the open game. They offered 3 dollar Black Jack with decent rules. 3 dollar craps with double odds. (I did find a dollar craps with 5 X odds at another property.) Im not much of a slot player but my girl friend spun the Wheel of Fortune more times then I can count.

All in all I really liked Laughlin and the Flamingo in particular.

Don't be swayed by the occasional negative comment you might see here. I think the "bad" reviews are due to someones little ego being hurt. I found this place to be just fine. Every room has a view. We were on the top floor - excellent. Could have had rooms comped if our stay was mid-week - couldn't work it out so had to pay. I'm thinking that comped rooms would not be on 18th floor.
My only casino gripe is the 6-5 blackjack payoffs instead of the customary 3-2. In other words, if you get a blackjack you are paid $6 on a $5 bet instead of $7.50 This seems to be a bad trend - I also found 6-5 at LV Paris. Downtown Vegas is a better choice if you like BJ.
I had a three day stay here (after 3 downtown Vegas). I like Laughlin for the following reasons: no smut peddlers, casinos are closer together than the LV strip, the table game dealers speak english, as does more of the clientele.
I recommend the t-bone steak special in the diner. Wife & I both ate huge for $2.99 each and if you show your slot card @ checkout it's another $1 off each. We were there on a rodeo weekend so most of the time the lines were long. Ended up eating breakfast croissants at Burger King.
Cold snap during our visit so didn't check out the pool but our room had a view of it. It appeared adequate.
Only other gripe pertains to almost of the places in the Vegas area - NO IN-ROOM COFFEE. I gotta have my morning coffee first thing - keeps me regular. So we always take our hot pot - instant coffee better than none.

We stayed three nights from 18 until 20 april.I had booked their casino suite on the Internet.It was a bargain at USD 65,00 a night.Nice room, seperate sleeping room and living room.The room itself was a little bit worn, but it was clean.The bathroom was really small, but it was enough.Two big TV`s and a wetbar.
The whole hotel is in need of an update.I mean when the elevators are subject to grafity and they do not remove it, it seems nobody bothers anymore.
The casino is fun to play, and they are easy on the comps, at least our slot host was.Al in al we had an enjoyable visit.Will go back their again.

This was my first and last time to stay at the Flamingo. The room was dirty and outdated, the a/c was hardly working and the bathtub looked dirty. I've stayed at the Riverside Resort and Colorado Belle and would recommend either of those hands down over the Flamingo!

The place has gone down hill but was still ok. What wasn't ok was the check in. We had made reservations months ahead of time to make sure we got what we requested. Our daughter and two children went with us so we requested an adjoining, non-smoking room. The lady who made the reservations assured us that it wouldn't be a problem. To our surprise, it was a problem. Check in time is 3 we didn't get checked in until 5. We had driven from Sedona with 2 kids who were ready to rest in a room. The check in was absolutely horrible and they didn't care. They told us that, just because we requested an adjoining room didn't mean we'd get it. WHY MAKE THE RESERVATION, THEN? They finally, after two hours, got us an adjoining room but we had to get a smoking. My grandson has real bad allergies but we had no choice. They didn't care that we said we were going to miss the show that we had planned on seeing that night. What is the problem? If we booked an adjoining room, set that aside until 4 or so. If we don't come, use it as 2 single rooms. Is that so hard? The staff was so cocky and arrogant. They knew they had us over a barrel and didn't care. They WANT THE POWER!! Well, you got it, Flamingo!! You don't have to worry about us staying with you again. They only bad thing is. They don't care because, if you don't stay, some other sucker will take your place until they get enough!!! GOOD BYE AND GOOD RIDDANCE! Harrah's here we come!

This was our 2nd visit to Laughlin. We really enjoyed our stay both times. I have been to Las Vegas abot 6 times and have only come out ahead once. The last 2 visits to Laughlin I left ahead both times. I really enjoy the Flamingo in Laughlin and ave gotten great comps there unlike the casinos in Las Vegas. I look forward to my next trip in Dec 04 and have plans to stay here again.
