Did not stay here but went to eat and watch mud wrestling at Gilley's on a Wednesday night in late March 2007. Great meal at Gilley's and all the beer you can drink for $20. This place has a fun party atmosphere to it and the table games are friendly and the limits are low. Be sure to stop here to experience the "old" Vegas vibe.

We stayed at Wynn, but played and drank at the Frontier!

I make a good living, but cannot afford to sit down at a $25.00 per hand

blackjack table. They have $5.00 tables at the Frontier which is more my

speed. I met a few others people that were in the same situation as me.

This joint is as old school as it gets, which is cool. Mike the bartender

was great. This place still has video poker machines at the bar that take

quarters. They don't take bills. That took me back to the old days of

Vegas when I first started coming here in the mid 80's.

Yeah, it's old, and little run down. But we had blast both nights we came

here! If this hotel does get bulldozed, I hope the new place is more

reasonable then some of the high end places near by. Don't get me

wrong, Wynn was one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. I just

can't play cards there! Build a hotel and casino that the middle class can

enjoy. The place would be packed every day with this location.

The New Frontier was not too shabby! I expected this place to be as rundown as The Tropicana, but I was pleasently surprised. The casino does kind of seem lonely and talking to SOME of the black jack dealers is like pulling teeth. However I would come back even though I always stay on the south end of the strip.

stayed in the tower suites. Good value for such a large sized room. However, the room was very old and a few things did not work. My group wanted to stay on the strip but the location of this hotel is close to wyn and one of the mails and that's about it. I believe this place is going to get torn down and I won;t lose any sleep over that. The casino was fair, the staff was average & the food was o.k. Nothing wrong about the place for the money but I wouold not make another visit to this hotel

After spending a 2 night stay at the Frontier, I can say the accomodations in the Atrium suites were a decent value for the money, the weekend rate being extremely competitive. The suite was roomy and appointed. But make no mistake, the Frontier is one of the older resorts on the stip today and it shows. Some of the attitudes in the hotel and gaming staff were as "tired" as the hotel itself, and I was charged more at the time of checkout than the rate the reservation was originally made for. I have stayed at several different hotel-casinos, on the strip and downtown, including across the street at the Wynn, and I was confortable with the value at the Frontier. Would consider staying there again.

Didn't stay at the hotel but will next time. I love the casino. I alway do well here and the cocktail service is excellent. They have a great selection of games and the staff is always very friendly. One of the best if not the best casino on the strip. It's an older property but it only adds the feel of old Las Vegas when all of the legends in Hollywood hung out here. The location is perfect and I am looking forward to staying at the hotel on my next trip. I did hear that this place might be one of the next places after the Western Ho to be torn down. I hope that doesn't happen for a few more years.

We have stayed at The Frontier many times. The service by everyone from the valets, the bellman, the maid service and room service was as always exceptional. The table games are not the best in Las Vegas. Not many players and not much enthusiasim from dealers or players. Good slot place and they do comp the steady slot players. We have always felt comfortable and safe playing here even late at night. The convienient gift shop open 24/7 was also a great feature.

The buildings in Las Vegas do not always make for the most fun. It's the people. This property will be gone soon we hear, but we wish the staff the very best. Thank you for making our stays at The New Frontier so enjoyable.

Did not stay here but stopped in a couple of times to gamble. Really enjoyed it in 2002, when last here. But the place has gone downhill. Machines that would not accept slot card or bills. Drink service not as good as in the past. It just seeed a bit dirty and worn. *Sigh* I think the place will not be here much longer. Little if any money seems to be being spent on upkeep. With the Wynn across the street the demands on the property for redevelopment may be just too great. Its a shame as I love the "low roller" joints and would hate to see only upscale places in this part of the strip.

The Frontier is a Grand old lady if you ask me. I have loved the Frontier since my first trip to Vegas and the fact that they will soon tear her down to make room for progress makes me very sad. The rooms are a little worn down, but, comfortable with a nice large tub and adequate bathroom. When I was here last the wait wasn't long and the lady helping me check in was very nice (they haven't always had the nicest people working the desk so this was nice). You get a fun book when you check in which is an alright funbook. I would definately say if you find a good rate at this hotel by all means stay here and experience a grand old lady before she goes into history.

We stayed here on a Friday night, and it was half the price of any other room on the strip! The service wasn't too friendly, though. There were about 12 people in line to check in, and only 2 workers checking people in. There were 4 other workers back there walking around checking on what the 2 were doing, though. And these 2 workers were S-L-O-W!! My only other issue was that we had requested a room with 2 beds....we were given a room with one bed and 1 sofa (not a sofa-bed) When we called down to ask if there were 2-bed rooms available, we were told 'Nope, we are booked, sorry.' We couldn't even get any extra pillows or blankets. Other than that, the room was great as far as being a place to crash.

Stayed at the Frontier last month and had a good visit. We used to stay at the Frontier a lot and then began staying at Bellagio a lot which is a very elegant place, but just a trifle too expensive. It seems that no matter how our comps were figured at Bellagio, we always received a bill for about 1K for a weekend. Compare this to the slot club and comps at the Frontier. Our last bill at the Frontier was $89.00. Let's see - $89 or 1K -not a tough decision.

While I would like to see a bit more multi-game variety and 9/6 machines at the Frontier, the vp is good and the Players Bar is a lot of fun. They are very reasonable with comps provided you play the $1 machines a bit. I agree with others that this hotel has the 'old Vegas' feel and I guess I am sort of retro in that way - I like it. Frontier seems to be cleaner than before and the Atrium Suites are always a good deal. I'd rather spend my money on eating out, shows, gambling, than on the room. The gang at the Frontier are always very friendly and treat us very well.

Also, we have been in LV every New Years Eve since the fireworks on top of the dozen or so hotels started. You get a nice view of the fireworks from this area - down by the Bellagio or MGM you can't even move at 12PM - in front of the The Frontier it isn't so crowded.

I was visiting the Frontier on March 4-6 2005 And as usual my visit was fantastic!!! I love the location and the employees and the comps. I was invited for a 10k give away although I didnt win that I had a nice dinner and show with 2 nites stay. My gambling success was a blast I bought up about $150 to play with and as usual I won enough to keep playing on my winnings. I love this hotel and casino and go every opportunity I get before it closes...since there is rumor of that. When that does happen that will be a sad day for me. I like the fact that I can find my husband in the casino with a once thur.

thanks again to all the frontier staff

I had plenty of time to kill so I walked around to as many casinos to collect chips. There seemed to be a normal amount of activity with folks checking in and all, but the casino was deserted. This place has low limits compared to the nearby mega resorts, so I was surprised to see the place about vacant. I like to play craps, so I bellied up to a $5 table to play enough to (hopefully) win a couple of chips for my collection. I began a conversation with the dealer and said "what's up with this place being dead?"..he said "It's ALWAYS dead." He was friendly enough, and I got a drink pretty quick, but as soon as I won a couple of chips I said, "color me up, I'm going somewhere else." The dealer said, "That's a good idea."

We stayed in the Atrium Suites and had a lovely view of the strip. Room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff and cleaning staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We stay in Las Vegas every other year and at a different hotel. The only thing this property is missing is a lounge to gather in with friends. So not eat at the Mexican Restaurant. Food was bad and so was service. The buffet is adequate but not a lavish spread. You get what you pay for. This property is a good value for the price. We were very lucky with the slots and cards.

We didn't eat there other than breakfast and it wasn't bad at all..I guess some people caught them on a bad day..Casino was average..No MEGA casino but you got the feel that this was a casino that has been around for a long time..Lot's of young people there too.

Unfriendly lady at the Slot card counter. She was rude, crude and, of course, she didn't even care that she was. Rudeness must run in the Frontier family because everywhere we went there was rudeness. The rooms were not that good. There were two frigs because the built in one was broken. The whole place was run down. It smelled. I look forward to the day that they will get rid of the Frontier and replace it with a good place. It had it's time but it has run out now. Farewell, Frontier....

Hey, Vegas is all about stayin out all night, right??? I did'nt expect much from the New Frontier, it's an older hotel, great room rates, and the location is perfect, just to the northern end of the strip. The staff was typical of any hotel, you have your friendly and helpful folks, then you have the grumps that are there to collect a paycheck. I was pleasantly surprised with the room, even though we were a ways down the hall, I was closer to the strip than in any of the other hotels I've been to. Security made several rounds, they were quite visible, friendly and helpful. The pool was closed, that would have been nice to know ahead of time. The bar tender could use a personality and a diet, he was as round and unpersonable as they come, everyone else was at least cordial, the front desk clerk was very cheerful. Did'nt see much gambling in the casino. Overall the place did well, it was an inexpensive place to lay my head for the short Vegas power naps. Location and low room rates are it's greatest attributes in my opinion. Bathroom has a marble tub and vanity. Negatives... It is an older place, and it does show and smell it's age. Casino... no action, staff hit and miss. I'd say it's a great value if you're looking for a place to sleep on the strip.

The Atrium rooms were nice, clean and decent. The elevators, however were well worn and rickety. I was told on the phone that high speed wireless was available in my room; however after carrying my laptop on the plane I was told it didn't work. In order to chek my email I had to go to the business center and pay 50 cents a minute. They did credit me $20 on my bill, but not until I called the manager after I got home.
