Stayed at the Howard Johnson - Airport for three nights. I new I was in trouble when I went to my room after checking in at the front desk. Many of the metal room numbers were missing on the room doors. I had to find someone in housekeeping to direct me to the right room. The room was dirty and the furnishing worn. The parking lot had much liter and was poorly lighted. I did complain to management and was offered a $10 coupon for my next stay at any Howard Johnsons in the U.S.A. which I assure you I will never use. There are many nicer hotels along the strip or downtown that are a good value.

What can I say other than we had to spend one extra night in Vegas to catch a very early flight and this was close to the airport. I booked it on hotels.com and when we drove up to check in, we immediately knew we'd have to find somewhere else to stay.



I called hotels.com and ended up getting my money back. A man who worked at one of grocery stores 12 miles west of the strip told us it was a "biohazard" of a motel and was he ever right!



I rated the rooms but we never actually went inside the hotel at all because the parking lot was dark, littered with trash everywhere and the rooms from what we could see from looking in the windows (some drapes were literally hanging loose from the window) made me think Grissom and his gang from CSI would be arriving soon.



All it lacked was crime scene tape and I am not exaggerating here.



I would avoid this place at all costs.
