North Tower is next to the check in desk/Fremont St. Experience while the South Tower is next to the parking garage. Taxi pickup is closer to the North Tower. I arrived at the Plaza Hotel 12:30 PM and they arrogantly said the rooms were not going to be ready until 2:30 PM and I must check my bags. At 2 PM I checked the desk again and they politely told my reservation for the North Tower had been cancelled since the water was going to be out for 3 days. A polite lady put me in south tower Room 1143, close to the elevators. It was a large room with a miniature bathroom. The room was about 16’x 25’ with the bathroom/shower/toilet (4.5’ x 5’) inside this area along with a sink/mirror/closet (7’ x5’). In the bathroom you can stand in the middle and touch all four walls and the 7’ ceiling, so it is the smallest bathroom you will ever see. There was a little mold in the corners of the shower, the main room had one wall receptacle hanging loose away from the wall, and another receptacle had only one working socket. The old TV had 12 local channels with a remote. The room had an iron, ironing board, clock, smoke detector, soaps, plastic cups, 2 mirrors, and an old good working floor unit AC/heater. There was a door to the adjacent room and it would lock. There was one pen and no paper to write on, no Kleenex, and no coffee machine. On the 6th and last morning (Tues) the black stuff started coming out of the shower drain into the tub. I had read about this here, but did not think it would happen to me. To get rid of it just flush the toilet and turn on the shower and most of it will go back down the tub drain. You must keep the shower drain closed to keep this from happening! The walls were thin and the beds were comfortable. Looking from the outside the Plaza Hotel appears to have balconies on every room, but they are fake and you can not access the balconies. The pay wireless signal (Intello I-Hotel) was strong coming from the Plaza Hotel/Vegas Club costing $6.50/hr, $10.95/day, $30.95/4 days, or $50.95/week, you can use Papal or credit cards. The six elevators were always quick. There was no room food service, but Payless Pizza 702-877-1900, slipped a menu under the door with burgers, chicken, ribs, sandwiches, salads, and pizza to deliver, try at your own risk. The Plaza has a fair $7.77 buffet, McDonalds dollar menu, Subway, Noble Romans, and Sports Grill. There was a snack machine, ice machine, and $2 drink machine outside the room. After I checked out and left I noticed I was charged $5.55 x 6 nights for a Fremont street view. I called hotel 702-386-2110 and on the second call Heather claimed she would be crediting my card since I did not have a Fremont Street view. She did not offer the tax. I would not stay again since I did not like the longer walk from the south tower from Fremont Street and know when I reser
