We did not stay here but did play a lot. They have a load of penny machines, very good action for us low budget gamblers. The casino drink service is better than average for Laughlin.



We always eat here the idea of a resturant and buffet is great. There are times when each person wants something different. The food is very good and the value excellent.

I decided to enter a video poker tournament one time. I believe I actually won first place. But they didn't even write my score down right so I ended up with seventh place, which was really unfair. I will not enter another one again!!!!!

THE PI0NEER IS MY #1 CHOICE IN LAUGHLIN. THE SEAFOOD BUFFET IS GREAT. GUEST CHECK-IN IS FAST AND EFFICIENT. BAR SERVICE AND SELECTIONS ARE TOPS FEATURING SAM ADAMS ON TAP. THE GAMING CREW COULD SMILE A BIT MORE....THEY ALL LOOK BORED. WHAT I ESPECIALLY LIKE IS PARKING WITHIN STEPS OF YOUR ROOM. MY ROOM WAS JUST A BIT TATTERED, AND IN NEED OF A FRESH FACE, BUT NOT A DISAPOINTMENT AT ALL. THE LADIES DOING TABLE SERVICE AT THE BUFFET ARE ALL VERY DOWN HOME AND SWEET. THE 50 CENT SLOTS WERE "HOT".

We went into the coffee shop one morning for breakfast. After being seated the hostess said "the buffet today is mumblemublemumble." I said to my husband "what'd she say?" He looked at me in amazement and said "the buffet is $1.00!!!" Can you imagine ANY kind of buffet being only a dollar??!! We ordered it, of course! Their buffet is certainly nothing fancy, just the basics but good food. We've both done well on their video poker machines. Nothing terrific but at least you can sit and play awhile. They have a good variety of machines too. I will agree that the room walls are very, very thin because I got a call from the front desk one night telling me my t.v. was too loud!! This was at ten o'clock at night so apparently people go to bed early there too!! This is still my favorite place in Laughlin though!
