This place is outstanding! Yes, it's expensive. But, you get what you pay for. Just north of this

property is an old school souvenir / convenience store, complete with gifts, beverages, sun tan

lotion, and everything in between. So, if you are entertainng in your room, definitely make a trip to

that little store. Sports book and bar: there is no better. Rent a cabana at the pool. It's fantastic!

Remember, you are visiting fantasy land when you visit the las Vegas strip. Enjoy yourself. Look

for bargains when you get back home to your usual life.

We chose the Encore because of the offer they sent me. It was for $ 99.00 a night at the Encore in a resort king suite plus a $75.00 hotel free play credit. We arrived there and as I checked in I was given a resort king on the 24th. floor but I tried the twenty dollar idea and it worked great. We were placed on the 62nd. floor in a great tower suite that was two steps beyond super. It had free bottles of water free newspapers free turn down service free bedroom slippers and after they cleaned up the suite they refilled our ice bucket. The view out the floor to ceiling windows was awesome. The employees and staff made us feel like we were related to Steve Wynn.Now if you are in a tower suite you have a private enterance to use to give you an added personal touch. The only thing I could find wrong is their location

Without question the best rooms on the strip. The suite(all of the rooms are suites) are gorgeous. Huge bathrooms, luxurious beds, great living room area with a nice big screen LCD TV which swivels so you can watch it from the bed area as well. Restaurants are fantastic especially Wazuzu the Japanese offering. However, don't expect any comps unless you are a big player. I spent about $600 on the machines and nada, zip, nothing. Not even a lousy couple bucks in freeplay. Outside of that it is, without a doubt the most luxurious hotel. Lastly, the service is without compare. Every employee is very polite and courteous. I also like the fact that room service employees tell you that the grauity is included in the bill. Most places would not mention that and you end up tipping double.

Encore is beautiful. We've stayed at Wynn several times since it opened 4 years ago and wanted to try their

new addition. I spend way too much time looking online at pictures and reviews before I travel to Las

Vegas so when I walked into our suite (standard room at Encore) I was really impressed. I'd seen it on the

Encore website but the pictures just didn't look nearly as nice as in person! They are really spacious and

decorated very tastefully. If you are the type that truly only sleeps in the hotel room, then no need

staying at Encore or Wynn. But if like us you spend more time in the room in Las Vegas, Encore is a great

choice. The service throughout the entire Wynn resort is second to none! We'll definitely be back.

Stayed here as a special treat to ourselves for our 25th wedding anniversary. We stayed 2 nights as part of a promotion we were mailed, 2 nights for $129 per night and you get $150 in slot credits. This was the first two nights of a 12 night stay in Las Vegas. Room was great all the gizmo's you could want controlled from a panel beside the bed. Beautiful decor and design. Speaking of gizmo's watch out for the mini snack bar (items removed from their sensor pads for more that 60 seconds are automatically charged to your room).

But now for the bad news. We were on the 20th floor looking out over the pool area (no problem with that) As we go to retire that night about 1:30 am (Sunday night) I lay down and it sounds like I am in a cheap hotel and someone is having a dance party in the next room. I put my ear to the mirrored wall and nothing from the room next door. I look down at the pool area, nothing going on down there. I call down to the front desk and find out the XS nightclub is in full gear and leaves it doors open to the pool area channeling that euro dance beat non stop until 4:00 in the morning. OH JOY. They offer to move us, but my wife says she is not packing up to move at this time of night. She tells me suck it up princess and go to sleep. I get to sleep at about 4:00 am after the music stops. The next night, same stuff. I would be very upset if I paid full price and especially if I had a room at a lower floor where the sound must have been louder yet. I complain at checkout also and I am informed they know about the problem. My question is what are they going to do about it.

Now to the gambling (or should I say the red card club). We played our credits and made some money on our credits. No problem there. I was a new card member so after getting a certain number of points you get to spin the wheel to get a prize, the lowest prize being $10 slot play which of course I get (and probably so does 98% of other spinners). I am not upset with this this is to be expected. Now the red card club employee says if I give him an email address he will increase it to $20 slot credit. So I give him one of my crap email addresses that I hardly use. Then we leave to spend the rest of our stay at our other hotel (Gold Coast) and plan to come back next week sometime to play my slot credits. So we come back next about a week later and guess what? No slot credits. A nearby slot attendant informs me that credits expire 72 hour after being applied (she also implied in a snarky tone that everyone knows that). We, of course were never informed about this. Bitched and complained for about half an hour and finally got credits reinstated. We played them and then got the hell out of Dodge (probably never to return)

So if you stay here get a room facing away from the pool and make sure thy explain all the rules about credits.

I stayed here back in March, when I was in the process of buying my condo in town (where I now

reside). If I were still living in Orange County, I'd DEFINITELY stay here when visiting! The standard

suites are quite spacious at over 700 sq. ft., and they are certainly decorated tastefully and stocked

with amazing luxuries like a flat-screen TV in the bathroom and a great lounge sofa in the living room.



And if the accomodations aren't exciting enough, try the food! Sinatra serves classic Italian dishes done

perfectly, while Society Cafe is a "gourmet diner" doing luxurious comfort food. Also try Daniel Boulud

and Stratta next door at Wynn. Nightlife sizzles here with XS, Blush, and Tryst... And don't you dare

miss the fabulous show at Le Reve! For a few extra bucks, the VIP Indulgence package with champagne

service during the show is definitely worth it! ;-)
