In Las Vegas, and if you're on a budget, it boils down to this: you can either stay here, or you can go further north and stay at Motel 6 where it's actually a bit worse, or you can pick your poison of dumps along Fremont St closer to downtown.



I quit staying at Motel 6 after having stayed there so many times and realizing I'm not getting any rewards/points. Now I stay at Super 8 and at least I'm earning points now.



I've stayed here four times this year (2005). True, the rooms are nothing to write home about. Yes, odors do sometimes drift through the halls. However, it's pretty nice for those of us who are on a budget. Believe me, it could be MUCH worse further up the road.



In my case, the AC always worked well here at Super 8. The parking lot security guards are doing a good job keeping an eye on things. The bathrooms are clean and the beds are semi-firm. I recommend you ask for a room facing away from Boulder Hwy as the parking lot lights are WAY too bright.



Overall, a decent place to stay :) Hope this helps,

I am trying to be objective about this, but the place really is badly run and the rooms are awful. The room we got, none smoking, smelled of smoke all the way from the entrance to our room. The bathroom has no doors, just a curtain for privacy, and the beds are uncomfortable and smell like the sheets have not been changed for awhile. For $126 for the night, we felt that we paid too much and that there was no quality in this joint. My recommendation, don't stay here, smelly, low quality place that I am sorry to say that I took my wife. Seedy, smelly, eyesore of a place. We booked here since the rest of Vegas was booked for NASCAR, and we will not even consider staying here again.
