This is our 3rd visit to the Paris Resort & Casino and it is probably now our favorite hotel for value, location and service. Casino is tight however you are close to other casinos where you may do better. If you do gamble at Paris a $1.00 tip for each drink keeps them coming at any rate you wish. Rooms are clean and comfortable. We have found that their staff, with very few exceptions, are there to look after you and make your visit pleasent. We look forward to our next visit.

Stayed from 11/28/07-12/2/07. Another great stay at the Paris Hotel. Everyone was very friendly and the re furbished room was fantastic. The Producers show was aslo fantastic. Hit a royal flush on video poker on last night there which made the trip even better.

Ok. This was my first stay at Paris and the rooms were great! But the casino is AWFUL!! Very tight machines, not too big and the drink service was not very good. Also not enough table games. It is also quite a walk to the monorail. I did not win anything at all in this casino, so i gambled over at Bally's Harrahs and the Flamingo. Again, the rooms were nice but i think i will just stick to Harrahs.

The hotel was very nice. The room was nice and the bathroom was good size with a tub and separate shower. The cleaning staff was great. Our room was spotless and supplied with several fresh towels daily. Everyone at the hotel was polite from the dealers to the wait staff. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay on vacation.

Before we made reservation I read that the pool was not the best but as soon as we saw it we were very satisfied. Our group met for breakfast at the pool cafe everyday and then spent four or five hours enjoying the sunshine and cool water. The only complaint that our group had and it really wasn't a complaint is the cost of a bucket of beer. We actually laughed when the waitress said the special was a bucket of five Miller Lites for $30. Believe me we still drank several.

The casino was also very relaxing and nice. It was easy to get drink service while gambling and at one point I was given a twenty five dollar voucher for dinner which we used it at the RIO. One other thing that was nice is you can walk a short distance down the hall and play at Bally's.

If you are looking to book your stay in Vegas don't be afraid to try Paris, good food, good service and nice rooms.

Very nice. Offered strip upgrade - no charge! Hotel was quiet but we were able to hear the music of the pool and the music from the Bellagio fountain. Take advantage of the 2 for 1 passes up the Effiel Tower. The cafe wasn't a bad deal for a light breakfast. Fresh waffle topped with berries and fresh made whipped cream and unlimited coffee for $8.00. Cheap by Vegas standards.

Room was fresh each day when we returned mid-afternoon.
Good central location with easy access to all the sites. Good spot for first timers.

Nicest hotel I've stayed at in Vegas. We had the standard room, but it was roomy even with 2 queen beds. No coffeemaker in the room, but it did have a safe and a minifridge. Fridge is stocked and most items like beer & snacks are $5 and up. Strip view was offered to us for extra $60 night, didn't take it, had a nice view of the mountains & Hardrock casino.
Casino is very nice & roomy, great drink service, free drinks if your playing VP at the bars( you don't have to play max). Hotel security excellent, excellent customer service from staff, they were quick with requests such as extra towels. We played a lot at Ballys too & liked the connecting walkway between the 2.
Got the Harrahs total reward card (didn't really play that much, maybe 1000 points total for me & wife) & already getting free room offers on their website. If Paris is full I'd stay at Ballys, maybe Flamingo, fun places too & great location for all HET properties.

We stayed 4/8-4/12 and absolutely loved the property. The detail on the architecture and design is amazing. The one drawback is the casino. It seems very cramped compared to others and the selections of table games were not great. One saving grace of the casino was the drink service. Cocktail waitresses were fast and friendly. Great restaurants, especially Mon Ami Gabi with a patio view of the Bellagio fountains. The connection into Bally's gives you many choices of stores and dining. Like two hotels in one. Service was excellent, location can't be beat. Highly recommended.

Feb 11 - 14, 2007. I was really pleased with Paris Las Vegas. People say you spend so little time in your room it isn't necessary to have a really nice room. But when you have a nice room, all the casino's amenities are nicer. I really enjoyed the restaurants, the nightly live bands at Le Cabaret were fabulous, the high faux sky ceilings were pleasant. The location on the strip was really central and easy to get around. I enjoyed being connected to Bally's via a walkway because Bally's had good restaurants and entertainment too. Paris isn't so huge that it's inconvenient to get around. There were wonderful coffee shops right near the elevators.

Very nice place. Went during first week of Jan and got a rate of $109 a night which I think was very good. Nothing to complain about about regarding the room. Very nice. I've read several books that stated the rooms were nice but unremarkable. Ok. Didn't gamble too much there because I'm a low limit gambler. Ate at Mon Ami Gabi which was very nice. A good visit.

One complaint. The valet parking really needs to be staffed better.

Nothing special here. Just a plain room. Would not upgrade to a stripview for free despite a 45 minute hotel error at checkin. We have been to Las Vegas and stayed at 3 other strip hotels and have always gotten a stripview room for no extra charge, even without check in problems. For a similar price and location you are much better off at Aladdin/Planet Hollywood.

I stayed at the Paris Hotel with my wife and two teenage daughters. The room was spacious and clean and the desk personnel friendly. The view from our room overlooked the pool which was nice but the pool at Bally's (next door) is better. Everything in the room worked with the exception of the hair dryer which had to be replaced and was, promptly. The casino was nice but I did not notice many people winning on the slot machines. The cocktail waitresses are friendly and it was easy to get a drink. There were a variety of table games and the new automated roulette was quite nice. The buffet was good but not great, I would have expected more choices. The business office is great if you have to print out your boarding passes or ship something home. The stores going into Bally's are good if you like to shop which I don't. There are no refrigerators in the rooms which is a drawback.
All in all, a nice time. I would visit again.

First-time stay at Paris, and it probably won't be my last. I took advantage of a great deal and booked 5 nights over Labor Day weekend. The staff is excellent. The room was great. I had a little luck in the casino, which was very crowded over the weekend. If I get another great offer from Paris I will jump on it.

Of all of the strip hotels in which I have stayed, this one is my favorite. The rooms were generous size and the bathrooms have a separate shower and tub. The vanity is large which accommodates all of the face and hair care products that were brought by us. There are several places to choose from to eat as well as a wide-variety of prices. All the dining facilities are pleasant and provide smoke-free sitting areas.
One thing that is great is that they have a great ventilation system. The ceilings are very high and the seating arrangements in the casino leave you with plenty of room (almost TOO much room). Pressing the "Great Service Button" on the slot machines gets you a cashier VERY quickly and they all were extremely pleasant, courteous, and professional.
The casino itself is inviting and fairly easy to navigate through, unlike someone of the other mega resorts where you need a tracking system to find your way around. It also is connected right with Ballys so if you want to go over to Ballys, you just walk through the little shopping street and right into Ballys without having to go outside.
The Eiffel Tower tour is a little spendy at $9 per person. But if you are staying at Paris, guests who show their room key get 2-for-1 prices. The view at night is spectacular!
I loved this place! The location was great, the views are great, and the service was great! I would definatley stay at this place again.

I don't complain often, but when I set up reservations months ago for my comped room, requsting a high floor with a view, a king sized bed, and indicate our flight will be arriving late, I expect that informal contract will be honored. Instead, upon arrival, I was informed I had a deluxe on the 6th floor with two queens and no view. They decided to charge me $75/nt for that room until I questioned it. All the vp machines were down except those at the bar. No explanation. They were just dismantled. Tickets worked in some machines, others you had to take to an understaffed cashier window. The buffet that opens at 7, we waited til 7:10 then left. Spent most of our time between Caesar's and Harah's where we were treated so well we gave them all our money in exchange for one diamond, one platinum card. When we arrived home I shot off an email to the Paris, received an unsigned apology. It's unfortunate. This had always been one of my favorite places in Vegas. Even when staying at the Bellagio last summer I spent most of my time in Paris. I guess times change.

I recently stayed at Paris for the third time, and, after reading the reviews on this site, felt the urge to
share my experiences. To start, Paris Las Vegas has the best customer service of all the Vegas hotels
(I've stayed at nearly all of them). No matter where you end up in this town, you are bound to encounter
an employee with a less than pleasant attitude. Gamblers typically expect the world, and are often very
rude to casino employees. At Paris, however, I have only ever encountered one such person. She was a
Total Rewards desk supervisor named Sunny (ironically, her disposition was nothing of the sort). Every
other employee with whom I have had dealings at Paris has been friendly, professional and ready-to-
please - from check-in agents to pit-bosses and dealers. My casino host always gets me comp'd rooms
that are upgraded to Calais Suites. Granted, even the suites could use some updating, but you can't
complain about a free suite. The Diamond VIP check-in area is well appointed and filled with employees
who are ready to please. Further, the Diamond Lounge is a great place to grab a snack or a few free
cocktails in a semi-intimate setting. One night I went to Ah-Sin and asked for a table for one. The
maitre d' started telling me how long the wait was going to be when I interrupted him with a request for
the patio seating. I was told that there was nothing available all night on the patio. So I took out my
Diamond card and the maitre d' immediately apologized, started calling me sir or by Mr. and my last
name, and I was seated on the patio immediately. Now, some readers of this review will at this point be
thinking, of course I had great experiences, I'm a VIP. But the truth is, I am not that big of a gambler. It
is VERY easy to become a Diamond card holder, and once you do so, you are treated in a much different
manner. The great thing is, with the amount I gamble, I would never be noticed at non-Harrah's owned
properties. You are severely rewarded for being a Diamond member just for an unwritten promise that
you will do most of your gambling at Harrah's properties. To summise, In Vegas you have to be
realistic. You will be treated differently depending on how much you gamble. Unlike hotels everywhere
else in the world, Vegas hotels DO NOT treat everyone equally - and they make no apologies about it.
People get great comp's and fantastic service when they give away large sums of money. Oh, and with
regards to the $20 tip in hopes of a room upgrade: Are you people serious?? A tip that small may get
you to the front of a buffet line in an old casino downtown. On the strip, however, a $20 tip is about a
standard tip for the bell-hop who just assisted with your luggage. If you attempt to tip a check-in agent
anything, let alone a mere $20, for a room upgrade, you'll just end up making a fool of yourself.

As a total rewards member, I usually stay at the Rio. It was booked for comps , so I tried Paris on one day of my two day stay, and Bally's on the other. The parking is shared,so it was not a tough switch. Location, of course is excellent in mid strip. Bally's was suitable but the rooms, service and staff at Paris were much better during this stay. All impressions are personal and depend on who you encounter. The buffet was worth the wait and I liked killing time in the several texas hold um tournaments. I asked directions (after several coctails) and a very polite staff member walked me to my destination! I have booked a room for my annual birthday trip in Mid August because of my nice experience here.

Paris stay was surprisingly nice. Had heard that we might not enjoy staying there, but we had a great stay with no major complaints. Airport check-in temp. closed but no line at hotel check-in. A little trouble trying to get a good room with a good view which surprised me because we came in on a Monday night. Overpaid for what we ended up with but the room was nice and we had a decent view of the Bellagio fountains, the pool and Eiffel Tower. Maid service and cleanliness were good. Connection to Bally's was great and we spent a lot of our time eating and gambling there. Paris food pricey and while the casino was great to look at, we felt more comfortable at Bally's, O'sheas, NYNY, Barbary Coast and Tropicana. I will say this about Paris casino though, I never had to wait to play blackjack or roulette. More than enough tables open morning and night. I didn't win very often, but I didn't have to wait to lose my money either, which is probably a bad thing but I am taking it as a positive. Much more table action at Paris then Bally's but slots were better at Bally's. Paris is all about decor and a great strip location. Eiffel Tower Rest. lunch reservations no problem but no atmosphere at lunch either. Thoroughly enjoyed Top of the World Restaurant at Stratasphere and The Range at Harrah's. While the value was not great at Paris, unless you get a comp or special deal, we enjoyed the scenery and layout of hotel and would recommend it.

The Paris is a reasonably nice place however slipping in some areas that should be easy to correct. For example, our room has a hassock near the entry way near the automated minibar refrigerator (where the ten dollar bottles of water live) that makes the entering the room tight. The bedspreads and carpets were faded and showing their age yet the bathroom is large and nicely appointed. Rooms could definetely do with an update. Common areas like hallways were clean and fresh.
Staff are friendly enough and the restaurants while not inexpensive, are good. The buffet is a great play for breakfast and they still have some dollar 9/6 JOB video poker. I think you can do much better for similar prices elsewhere but this is not a bad choice if you get a decent marketing offer.

Me and my husband found this hotel to be one of the better ones. We stayd here on a comp of two free nights. We arrived a little late in the evening, they did not have the king room that we had requested available. They offered us a room with two beds and a great view to make up for the trouble. When we saw our room and the view of the pool, tower, and the fountains at the Belligo right out the window we were very pleased. Everything in the room was nice and clean, no complaints. We had played in the Paris casino many times, never really won alot but thought it would be a nice hotel to try out. And again on our stay never won alot but the casino is beautiful. They have the best forzen mixed drinks. We like to play the slots and there are plenty of them to pick from, all of our favorites. All in all a very nice hotel, friendly people, good casino, we would be very happy to stay here again.

Paris used to be the "best" hotel. They used to offer on-going slot tournies, cash back, shopping sprees, and then Harrahs bought them out. What a down hill slide! Horrible. Paris lost its appeal. The rooms are still great, service is very good, slot hosts are wonderful, but the "giving back" to loyal customers is limted. We sure miss the Paris and Ballys of old. Now, we rarely receive comp offers in the mail even though we are spending the same amount of money.

Stayed here from 8/4-8/7 and was very, very pleased. Usually we stay down at Treasure Island, but I'm not too happy with the changes they have made, so I wanted to try something different this time. Paris is great and by far an excellent place to stay. We took an early morning flight and just knew we would not be able to check-in and get a room early, but we were wrong. As soon as we checked in, we asked for a room with a view of the strip and they said that they even had one ready now so we could go on up. The service at registration was great and we were treated with such respect. We had a room on the 23rd floor and what a view we had. Right outside our window was the fountains at Bellagio, the Eifel Tower and the pool. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Room was nice and large as well as the bathroom. The bathtub was a little too small for my taste (compared to the garden tub at Treasure Island), but it had a separate shower and that's all I needed. The only thing wrong with the room was the toilet paper dispenser fell off the wall the the bathroom, but that was no big deal. Played a lot of slots and Black Jack. Dealers were all great and very helpful for us first time players. Even had one give us a great recommendation to a restaurant at another hotel. Slots were okay and made a little money off of them, but they're much more loose at some of the older hotels. The little cafe they have there was really good and the prices were not that bad, but the most awesome restaurant there was Mon Ami Gabi. It looks right out onto the strip with a perfect view of the fountains. The food was amazing here. A little pricey, but that's what you get when you go to a nice restaurant like this. All in all, our stay at Paris was wonderful and we are planning out next trip out there and at Paris.

Overall, not a bad place to stay, although the rooms are notch below Mandalay, and several notches below TheHotel or Bellagio, it wasn't an awful room, some minor damage (peeling paint & chipped molding), the bed was like a rock which I didn't appreciate since I like a softer bed.

I booked a package and got a really good price, so I was happy, for under $100 it would be a good value, for the listed $199 you could do much better.

The location is excellent and most of the restaurants are great, the casino isn't too bad with decent drink service and selection of machines/tables. The connection to Bally's is great, two casinos for the price of one.

Visited Paris daily over an 8 day period, 7/2-7/10/05. The hotel and casino are beautiful. The high ceilings in the casino make the place almost smoke free( my wife loved that). Table limits are too high for my bankroll but played the slots. NO good VP that I saw. Drink service was fair, but I was there in the mornings most days so it may improve later in the day. Food choices are good but once again on the high side. Ate three times in the Cafe. My wife liked the atmosphere and I must agree that the food was good. Easy access to Ballys through the shopping arcade is a big plus as I enjoy the action in Ballys. Overall Paris is an attractive interesting casino in which to spend some time. The location is excellent and offers many other choices gaming action. With unlimited funds I would consider staying here, but there are better bargins in the area.

Had two comped nights for my daughter and me before we finished our visit to Vegas at the Rio for 5 nights. First time at Paris. Confusing route to valet parking. Check-in was quick. Okay room. A little bigger than average. Bath was nice, bigger than most in Vegas. Decor was done in blue, not great, but not boring. Had good view of pool area and Bellagio fountains. Interesting casino. Won some on quarter slots, but didn't dotoo well at tables. Only ate at St. Louis Il Cafe. Was good. Daughter got a rib dinner with the trimmings for $14.95. I got a burger. All was good. Service was okay but nothing to rave about. Daughter loved the shopping. A little bit of walk to the parking garage, but not bad. Elevators to rooms were well located. Loved watching the "living statues". Nice that you can walk through shoppping mall to Bally's. Will stay here again if comped.

The three of us stayed at Paris from 5/12 - 5/15. I had stayed there once before in 2000 and was very impressed, I was expecting the rooms to be as nice as they were then - but they're not. Rooms are neat and clean. Bathroom is big and clean (although the shower could have used some re-caulking), but the bedspreads and furnishings are definitely showing their age. It is unacceptable that these types of things aren't replaced every 3 years or so, with the money the casinos are making! You just don't get that luxurious feeling when there is an old stain on the bedspread and frayed edges. The public areas are obviously being maintained, so why not the rooms?

We paid for a view, and it was definitely a nice one. The view was a highlight, got to watch the fountains every night. Once thing I would say is that the buffet (evening) was pretty average. I enjoy smoked salmon and cheeses, and they have that, but the hot selections were really pretty boring. Skewered chicken kind of tough. The Bellagio has a lot more special salads and desserts. I know it is more expensive, but I have decided it is worth it.

We did have a lovely meal the last evening we were there. One of our group was feeling sickly, so we ordered room service and it was fabulous! My dad had a filet - cooked to perfection! and I had the salmon - very good. They kept it hot in the hot box until we ate it. We also had a fabulous salad with champagne vinagrette dressing and gruyere cheese. We shared a lovely bottle of Beaujolais and had Creme Brulee for dessert. Much to my delight, the butter had a "paris" imprint on it. It was really fun, and for the price, the portions were enormous! Two could have easily shared. Price for meal with all the trimmings for two: 130 dollars. And I bet we had more fun that at the stuffy Picasso. :-)

On the whole, our visit was fine, but get it together, paris! And spend some of that dough on the bedspreads.

I stayed with a buddy near the end of February. I got $99 a night through the Park Place Connection Card, with four comped drinks, spa discount, and 2 for 1 We Will Rock You tickets.
We checked in at the airport, and naturally they didn't have a room with a good view available. We had to go to the ambassodor's line at the hotel to get our room key. The hotel/casino is easy to get through, and I liked the elevator system, which is about four sets of elevators for different sets of floors. We didn't have to ride and wait for 10th floor people to get to the 30th. The room was an average hotel room, although the shower was all glass, which would have been cool if I had gone with a girl.
The WWRY show was fun. It was about twenty Queen songs with a story wrapped around them. It was half rock show, half musical. The pool location was excellent, although I can't imagine being there in the Vegas heat. We didn't swim, it was February and raining. It's on the third floor, right behind the Eiffel Tower. There is even a photo op stage by the pool. The buffet was average. The wait staff always said "bonjour" and "merci", which was amusing considering all the ethnicities. The bartenders in the casino and the sports book actually never said a word to me before or after I ordered. Apparently I was a bother to them. The connection to Bally's was nice.
The casino was laid out well. There were a lot of single deck blackjack, which doesn't help if there is a full table and you're not a card counter. You can't get any momentum. No five-dollar tables here, or at Bally's. I went to Barbary Coast, OShea's and Casino Royale.
Value? I suppose if you want to pay for a nice view, Paris might have the best on the Strip. It is a nice place, but not elegant like the Venetian , Mandalay Bay, or Bellagio. It doesn't have a vibe like NYNY, Palms, or Rio. It has style, not a dominating decor like Mirage or Harrah's. It doesn't have anything to be desired, either. It is clean, the staff is fine. The location is good. It has standard prices for the Strip. Flamingo is cheaper, but you get less quality. You get what you pay for in Vegas.

We stayed at the Paris from 03-21 thru 3-25. Had a great time! The only down fall for us was that it was Spring Break for many of the "kids"! Way more people than we are used to. But, overall we had a great stay. Stayed in a "P" room on the 20th floor. Great view of the strip & the fountains at Bellagio. All the staff were wonderful. Loved the bartenders! Always helpful & very friendly! We skipped the buffet. Lines were way too long...we had good meals & service in Le' Cafe and at the cafe in Bally's. As far as gambling, well...gamble at Bally's. We did much better there than at Paris. Just one comment that I've seen here many times. Vegas is not for children! If you want to take your kids on vacation, take them to Disneyland! We seen too many people out with strollers & toddlers after 11pm at night. And they wonder why their kids are crying & pitching fits! Go figure!
Anyway, this was a great trip for us. We will be celebrating our 30th wedding aniversary in Aug (can we be that old?!?) I would stay here again given the chance, but never again on Spring Break or a holiday. Go and enjoy!

Stayed 4 nights, first time with my husband, usually go once a year with friends. Use my players card
and while not a big player I get enough time in to get the special offers which have a pretty good rate,
usually around $79 for weeknights and sometimes a free night. Got a free upgrade to a premier room
which had a nice view of the pool and bellagio fountains. This visit the windows were nice and clean,
last summer the windows were so dirty it was hard to see out! The room is pleasant and the bathroom
is spacious and clean. There were a couple stains on the carpet and the bedspreads are looking very
worn. Hard to understand why they can't replace these. It really takes away from the feel of being in a
"luxurious" setting. Mini bar which is new, previously had vending machines by the ice machine, those
have been removed.
Enjoy the casino and usually have enough luck to play for quite a while. Love the access to Bally's
without having to leave the building. The location is great! Love the easy access to Aladdin, Bellagio,
Caesar's Flamingo and Harrah's. Usually head down to Casino Royale, my husband loved their Blackjack
Switch table. Enjoy the shops at Paris and the wonderful dining choices. Had wonderful meals at Mon
Ami Gabi and Bally's steakhouse. Also at Mesa over at Caesar's. Will be heading back soon, hey if I win
a lot I may treat them to a new bedspread! Staff was very friendly and pleasant the security staff is
amazing. They are constantly patrolling the hallways. It's a nice feeling. One time they knocked to let
us know our door had not been pulled shut tight.

This was our first time in Vegas. Got there early and the doorman held our luggage. When we got to the room, called and had our bags in about 15 minutes. Hotel is beautiful. Was a little disappointed in the room. It was OK but just like any other nice hotel. Our view was the service entrance and the side of Bally's. Guess it didn't matter too much since we didn't spend much time in the room. Wondering if it is worth the price since the only special places are the public areas. Ate at LeCafe. Food was OK and prices about normal. Spent more time at Bally's casino. Location was great-right in the middle of the Strip. Used public transportation. $5.00 buys a pass for the whole day. Was going to use the tram but this seemed more convenient.

Probably would stay again but might like to try something new.

Overall, we had a good time.

I did not stay at Paris but I did gamble and eat. The buffet of course is awesome as almost everyone agrees. Its a little pricey but a good comp program alleviates that problem. Gambling: The slots were the loosest on the strip although not as good as downtown. Very beautiful ambiance. The Sportsbook however sucked. Most of the TV's had the channel knobs busted on them and the little sports bar thats attached to the Sportsbook sucks. 5.50 for a Bloody Mary served in a plastic beer cup. What a rip! At least I won money on my bet. Overall it seems like a nice place .

We ate in the sandwich shop across from the buffet - it was great! All fresh and well presented. We were staying at Circus (a terrible mistake as our shots weren't up to date!).
I have tried to book the Paris by internet in April, May, August and November it tells me there are no rooms avail. Could it be fully booked for those entire periods? Is there some trick, special website, or do I need to book thru the front desk for a room? Thanks!

My wife and I stayed at Paris again, and had a good time. We thought we had booked a P room, which we paid the price for, when we got to Las Vegas we discovered that a P room is first come first serve, (I booked the room 5 months in advance), I understood that when told. Went to the casino that evening, went to play craps, the dealer told me that there was no room for me at the table, if I had got in at the table I guess I would have blocked his view of the 2 babes that were there, and he would not have been able to see their cleavage as well. This upset me, I went to the Hotel manager not to complain but let him know what had happend, the manager gave me a card to fill out, to voice my complaint. I just went to the Mandaly group and gambled the rest of the 5 days I was there, I did gamble at Paris the last nignt we were in town. The Luxor, Monte Carlo, New York New York, and the Rio didn't seem to mind taking my money, I did terrible this year, droped alot of money. I had given Paris a good review the last time we stayed, the Hotel staff was great, the room was good, just the problem at the casino, they don't seem to care.

We are not frequent Vegas visitors, having only visited 4 times in the past 2 years. This was our first stay at the Paris, and our last. While overall our stay was satisfactory, it came at a high cost - beyond what I'd expect to pay for a "satisfactory" visit. Upon checkin we were offered a reduced price upgrade to a "petite suite" that we took. The clerk was very helpful in explaining that the standard room which we had booked was very small and uncomfortable, so upgrading would would be the only way to have a comfortable stay.
After we accepted the upgrade we were told that the room was not ready and we'd have to return at 3:00pm. However they did offer to hold our luggage - after we schlepped the bags outside (in the rain) and waited 15 minutes for a bellman to take them for us. I asked if the bags could be delivered to our room at 3:00, and were informed that we would have to pick them up ourselved. I thought that was a nice touch - lovely service.
The room was beautiful with a nice view of...well, nothing - just some rooftops and parking garages. My wife was a little disappointed that our suite did not include a mini-bar - just an empty fridge. We really don't mind spending $5 for a beer when we travel because it's convenient...but we were really irked by the fact that they were the same price through room service with the added bonus of a 30 minute wait.
We traveled with another couple who did not upgrade from the standard room. Their room was gorgeous, had a minibar, a nice view of the strip, and was not the shoebox size our clerk had led us to believe. In fact our friends were not even told about the room upgrades. During our stay their room was made up by noon, room service trays were promptly removed from the hallway, and chocolates left on their pillows. Our "suite" was made up around 3:00, room service trays sat in the hallways until about 5:00, and our bed looked like it was made by a 5-year old. No chocolates left, no turndown services offered, and no service card (the one that says who your housekeeping rep is).
The casino is laid out well, and it is pretty easy to keep yourself oriented on directions (my wife bounces around a lot, so I usually have to go looking for her - but it's easy in this casino). The slots are pretty tight though.

We dined at the Eiffel Tower restaurant. The food was impeccable, the service was high quality - but not exquisite, and the view was nice. However, the restaurant was loud, and I didn't particularly care for the entrance through the kitchen area. The price was very reasonable (dinner for 4 including apperitifs, appetizer, dinner, wine, dessert, coffee and gratuity was only $550). I would highly recommend the Eiffel Tower Restaurant!

It's too bad that the hotel staff doesn't offer the type of customer service that a hotel of this caliber would warrant.

Stayed at the Paris when it first opened and the room was great- bathroom was large and very very nice. This visit in Apr/05 was so-so. Room was average really. Needing some TLC. Especially the bathroom. Went on a pkg deal that included room and flight so standard rooms are what you get. We were told at check-in that we could upgrade to a petite suite for $85 a night more- but we would rather spend it in the casino. Rooms were not horrid- just not as good as I remembered from a few yrs ago. As I said- just average. ( for a standard room) Hotel staff was friendly from check in people to housekeeping. And we had no problem getting a new room after 2 nights of noisy neighbors. I would have no problem making a return visit- but I will try the petite suite next time.

Paris is always good to us. was there last minute in January... Called a week before and was able to get 2 nights comped based on my prev gambling there...When i got there, was upgraded to a lemans suite (used the $20 trick) had a great time at the hotel as always. Ate at The Artistes Steakhouse, spotty service, but the Filet Mignon was probably the best I have ever had. Great vibe at the casino. We had played our first night at MGM for a while and they had really bad vibes, but Paris was awesome..Used my players card at Paris, Caesars and Bally's which was nice and I hit the slots for $500 on my last morning there...So overall, a great trip! Thanks paris and see you in the summer!

We traveled with a family group of 9 people and had 4 standard rooms at Paris. The advance check-in was convenient and fairly quick. Though I had made the reservations in early April one of the rooms that they assigned was 2 queens instead of a king. One of our group was relocated to the 6th floor while the others of us were on the 30th. I found this irritating as I had called twice in the past week to reconfirm everything! Aside from that, the rooms were lovely, spacious, and nicely decorated. The baths were especially nice with a separate shower and tub. Two of our rooms were adjoining but must have had different maids. We got different little bath amenities depending on the maid. Service in other parts of the hotel was fair. Bar service took a while in three different bars. The buffet was nice. I had originally booked Paris because the grandparents of the group wanted to be able to use the monorail. It was disappointing not to have that available. I would stay at Paris again for the right rate. I would probably try another hotel next time just for the experience.

Had fallen in love with Paris from just walking through on previous visits so deceided to finally stay there from 12/23-12/26. LOVE the speed and convenience of airport check-in; would HIGHLY ADVISE utilizing this service. Snagged a P room without the $20 trick; view was not much to speak of and I question the added benefit of having this category room. Rooms & hallways are very quiet and service was good from my experience. Overall, a good, clean standard room in a charming hotel that is in a great location on the Strip. Not sure that this is a great value but would definitely check rates when planning my next visit.

Just returned from a stay from 12/26-12/30. Two years ago, the Paris was a wonderful place to stay. The casino was very kind to us, as an avid slot player, I hit a Blazing 7's sub-jackpot for over $2K. The magic of this property is gone! The problems started when my wife, myself, and good friends attempted to check in at the airport upon arrival. I asked as to the availability of a "P" room and was told that both my and our friend's standard rooms were automatically comp upgraded to "P" rooms, but they were not as yet ready for occupancy.

I thought, great, it pays to be a return customer! So, thus kicked in the principles of murphy's law, when later, at the hotel at three in the afternoon, we were told, "what upgrade?" After blowing our collective stacks at the check-in counter, the female desk manager on duty remained unmoved. We were tired and decided to stuff it until the following day.

Our standard "premier" view room was the second connceting bedroom of a calais suite next door. We could hear every word coming from that suite through the door.

The next day, my wife was unable to get into our room with her key, and while I was in Bally's casino, she finds me (in tears) claiming that the security guard assigned to help her gain entry into the room has humiliated her. Too long a story to go into in detail here, but off to the front desk we go again. This time we come away with gold VIP line passes, a $50 credit to be used any restaurant in the premises, and suddenly, there is a "P" room available at no additional charge on the 22nd floor.

Added problems at this hotel which I addressed and left in writing for the chief hotel mamager was: food trays with eaten food remnants left on the floor of the hallways for HOURS. Account access not working on the television system. Being charged (and having to fight for reimbursement) for a jar of cashews taken from the hospitality bar and put back in place while saying to each other, "would you pay $10 for this??"

The slots have become incredibly tight! Same at the sister properties Ballys, Flamingo, and Caesar's. The sub-jackpots have all been lowered (since 2002) from the thousands to the hundreds. Harrah's (and the airport)played the best (most "normal")of any slots the week we were there. I ended up ahead about $150.00.

Pluses that remained consistent from 2002 were maid service and the Village Buffet. Hordes of people descended on Vegas this week, and the hotel was so jammed that you could not find room to walk up and down the rear corridors.

Really a pity, a previously wonderful hotel has slid from a 4 star to a three. It seemed no one cared about the guest this time around....

BTW, best dining experience was Emeril's Seafood Haus in the MGM Grand (a perfect meal in all respects) and the worst meal was Michael Mina at the Bellagio (pretentious garbage for food). Best show was the new act by Gordie Brown, slated to become the next headliner for Steve Wynn when he opens in February.

Glad to be home in NYC!

We stayed two nights at this hotel and where rather disappointed. There is just nothing particularly good about the rooms. They about as average as it gets, not worth the price. This hotel has a nice casino though. The main advantage of staying at this hotel is the great location and having easy access to the delicious bread and pastries at JJ's Boulangerie. Other than that there is no reason to choose this hotel over another. For the price, I'd rather stay at the wonderful Mandalay Bay.

This could be the one resort I rate the lowest and the worse expereince I ever had in Las Vegas . Now I go to Vegas on average at least 8 to 9 times a year and drop alot of money . My friend called me up and said another buddy was getting married and we should go to Vegas I said don't worry I'll handle it . I called up and got Paris for us "with a view of Bellagio " . Well they had to work so we left Friday night and by the time we got there it was 11:00 P.M. . I walked up and got our room when she told me that the room I was told I was getting was there now and I could have it tomorrow if I wanted it . I was ticked off and let her know how come I was told I was getting some when I wasn't going to get it . I told them I wanted my money out of the safe which they keep it in and then they told me they would put me up in a suite for one night on the opposite side and it would be free . I was cool with that, I had a view now of nothing but the back of Aladdin but it's only one night . I went down the next morning and got a new room which was awesome on the 27th floor and a view to die for . Well as I was getting dressed another family WALKED RIGHT IN!!!! They double booked the room !!! So I had to get dressed go back down to get a new key and get everything fixed . When we checked out I went to buy something and my credit card wouldn't work !!! I later find out they freezed it while I was there ????? Man never again I tell you ....

While I considered Paris to be a bad experience, I actually enjoyed almost every part of my stay there, especially the buffet, which is phenomenal. The real problem is that the bed in the room is HORRIBLE. Its disgustingly soft, no support for your back at all. My girlfriend couldn't sleep at all because every time I moved in the night the entire bed moved with me. And both of us had nasty backaches when we woke up in the morning. So if you're staying at another hotel, don't hesitate to come into Paris for some food or some gaming (at least if you have a tolerance for high limits and mediocre rules). But whatever you do, don't stay there, not until they get beds that you can sleep on installed.

The location is as good as it gets. This is the second time I stayed at the hotel and it was very enjoyable. The pool area is basic, nothing overly fancy. I have stayed at Paris many times and I just can not seem to warm up to this place.I have gotten into many discussions about room rates with checkin people. One time I checked in at the airport and they tried to charge me a diferent rate then is was comped.Upon checkout same thing I told the women it was free the first 2 nights $29.00 the next 2 nights. I was told I was wrong.Nobody gets it for that price. I showed her my flyer from Paris and she told me that it was from Ballys.I told her charge me whatever you want add a little bit for you and the kids and I will have American Express argue with you.I got it for what was quoted but I did not feel right.Got home checked the computer and found out I got charged for two bottles of water from the room.($16.00)I was told the maids made a mistake and got the wrong room number. It is not a bad place but you really have to know your prices and don't be afraid to question them.

Gamble at Ballys-looser slots and better drink service, Connection card comps were great- had $130 comps towards room charges after only a few hundred $$ out of pocket money
Went to "0" at Belllagio (five minute walk)-good show but see Mystere first at TI for more acrobatics and variety. Again, treated like a king at the Paris!

We stayed three wonderful nights at the Paris Las Vegas,
July 19, 20 and 21 in room 2924.

As instructed, we called the Paris Las Vegas two hours
prior to arrival for pre-check in, which turned out to
be a very good system of checking in. A phone clerk takes
all the information and assigns you an available room.
Upon arrival, one goes to the Ambassador line. All arrangements
have been made while on the phone, and all the guest has
to do is show the credit card. We were checked in in less
than two minutes.

Our room was elegant. Our view was of the Aladdin, the MGM,
the Monte Carlo, NY - NY, etc. We did have a partial view
of the Bellagio fountains and a full view of the Paris balloon.

I very much appreciated the presence of security guards who
walk the beat in the hotel halls. Their presence was very
obvious and they also were attentive to say hello. I had never
seen this in other hotels.

I especially enjoyed the Paris television station that instructed
the viewer as to how to play in the casino. The impersonator
did a very funny Fran Fein, Joan Rivers, Judge Judy, Cher and
Katharine Hepburn.

The comps were very good! The customer service by Ed at the
Connection booth was superior. He explained the point system,
the comp dollars and then took the time to merge our numerous
Caesar's entertainment accounts onto one account. Even our
East Coast / Atlantic City accounts merged. We feel that the
comp dollars that we used towards our rooms were very generous.

Our summer package included a buy one - get one for the
show "Jubilee". We took advantage and really enjoyed the show.
The coupon saved us $65.

Our package included a drink poolside. The bartender Alan
made us feel very welcomed at the bar. The frozen drink was
delicious. How can anyone not love this pool set beside the
Eiffel Tower? The large urns around the pool reminded me
of the Estanque pool in El Retiro park in Madrid.

The package also included buy one - get one Eiffel Tower
Tour. I always wanted to go up that tower! The view was
breathtaking.

There were many other coupons... something for everyone.

We were in Las Vegas for two weeks for our wedding anniversary
vacation. I had played a lot of slots prior to arriving
at the Paris. I felt that the Paris slots were the most
fun. I won, lost, won, lost... but I seemed to win some
nice ones at the Paris, which allowed me to play for many
hours.

On Tuesday, July 20th, we awoke to the news on TV that there
had been a fire in the Paris hotel on the 10th floor. We never
heard more about it and failed to inquire.

I have only good to say about the Paris. It was a great
vacation spot. Everything was perfect. We were very comfortable.
We felt welcomed on every level. It was a fun stay in
a very beautiful resort. The other hotel guests were very
friendly and very happy with their stay too.

Thank you, Paris Las Vegas, for making our stay such a good one.
Thank you for the special package deal that brought us to
Paris, Las Vegas.

Hi, having visted Paris, France in November, thought we should give its
namesake a try. We have been to LV many times, have stayed in a vaiety
of hotels. The room was so, so. Bedspread could have used an upgrade.
We checked in at the airport and it was very easy and a good way to spend
the time waiting for our bags to arrive. It was 10:00 PM, so it was great to
get to the hotel and go right to our room. We asked for a view of the
fountains, and got it, but forgot to make sure we got a king size bed. We
did not, but decided not to press our luck, so stayed with the view and the
the 2 queens.
One concern I had, there was never anyone checking for room keys when
entering the elevators to go to the room. I found this a bit disturbing, since
the Bellaggio has a guard there 24/7 to be sure no one enters that
shouldn't.
The pool is definitely not grand like the Belaggio or Mandalay, but it was
comfortable and always plenty of chaise lounges. We had a coupon for 2
free drinks and the bartender was very friendly. We had lunch there one
day, also, a bit pricey and hot.
The whole atmosphere was very nice. We loved the Napoleon Lounge
during happy hours they served free sandwiches and the drinks (except
for the champagne) were very reasonable.
I always like to play in the Paris Casino. The have very friendly dealers and
generally plenty of tables available even on weekends.
Much variety of food available at this hotel from carry out to formal dining.
My husband did get upset when the soda machine kept eating his money.
He said he lost money in there than in the slots!!

I thought that the decor of the common areas of this hotel were just wonderful however I found the rooms for hotel guests to be nothing special. The bathroom was very pretty but the room in itself was just a typical room with threadbare bedspreads that looked like something you would see at a garage sale. We asked to be switched to another room which was a little cleaner looking (however the bedspreads are all the same and look aged)and had a nicer view and this was done very nicely by the mgmt. I feel that for this type of hotel the rooms should be more plush and elegant.

Wonderful Hotel - My new wife and I were travelling to Vegas on
Honeymoon and were delayed in LA, missing our connection to Vegas.
The Staff in Paris were exceptionally good allowing us to check in early
due to our exhaustion after a long flight (from Scotland).
Our room was on the 25th floor overlooking the Eiffel Tower and Bellagio
Fountains - It was a fantastic view, the room itself was very spacious and
nicely decorated with a high standard thoughout. We had a wonderful time
there and will definately return. We also stayed in the Luxor, which was
fun, but Paris was exceptional.

We booked our rooms two months in advance, which should in my opinion guarantee us the room with a view of the strip as we had requested (as it had at other hotels). Upon arriving we found that booking the rooms in advance was a waste. Not only was our entire party (five other people) scattered about the hotel, nobody had a room with a view. Being that it was our 10th anniversary we asked for a room facing the strip and were informed that for $20 extra a night we could have it. Although disappointed, we took it. While we had a view it wasn't that great as we could only see the Bellagio, which was blocked by the Eiffel Tower. There were plenty of other rooms available with a better view as we found out later. The people at check in were very rude and sarcastic. There were zero comps. The food at the restuarants was wonderful but the service was poor. When we checked into our rooms we had just settled down to rest and had a maid walk right into the room. No knock or anything. The same thing happened to EVERYBODY else in our party. It cost $10 a person to ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower. If staying in that hotel it should be free or discounted. The rooms were nice, but our maid took our TV remote. The casino did pay very well however and the waitress were around quite a bit for drinks. All in all, while it was a good stay, the staff was rude, the service poor and not a single comp was given, not even a room with a view.

I stayed at Paris in Vegas June 9-12th 2004. Let me tell you about the "$20" tip to get in the "P" room. I had read alot about this and so I decided to try it. So at the airport check-in(which is great!) I asked if there were any "P" rooms avaiable for upgrade. I had the $20 in my hand very visiable to the clerk. She said "yes" and would put us in one at no extra charge! WOW! That was easy!
We get to our room and it has glass windows on both sides for walls. So we opened one of the shades and all we saw was parking garage as far as we could see!OK. Lets see whats on the other side. Oh yeah! PARKING GARAGE AGAIN!!! The worst view you can imagine! So called down to the desk and asked if we could be moved to a view of the strip and were told no problem. We had to take a room with two Queen beds instead of one king. That was no problem after we saw the room we were put in! GREAT!!! The room # is 1994. It was a regular size room but it overlooked the pool, the tower, and a great view of the Bellagio foundtains!!! The bathroom was a little disappointing. To small for two people to get ready at the same time. The bathtub was small also. Very comfortable beds! I thought it was a nice size room and to be honest, the "P" room was not that much bigger. The first night after we got into the "nice" room was great. We loved the casino and didn't do bad on the slots. The cobble stone is a bit hard to walk on. The casino is beauitful! The next morning, much to our surprise, there was a BIG basket of fruit, Nice wine glasses and a bottle of champaign from the casino outside our door for breakfast with a note stating how sorry they were for the room problem. Thought that was GREAT!!! The food at Paris is OK. We ate at the Cafe and it was good but not great! MGM has a really nice buffet. I would stay here again no problem. But the "P" room. No Thanks.

Paris Las Vegas is a wonderful hotel if you were Hilton Honors Gold VIP. I said were because a decision was made quite suddenly that the Caesar's Entertainment hotels in Las Vegas will no longer participate in the Hilton Honors program! Too bad. We have sayed at Paris over 15 times since it opened and probably will never stay there again. You cannot accumulate points or stays any more, so ther is NO reason to stay there anymore. We always got our upgrade to a suite and were able to use the Bally's Spa for free. My understanding is that 15,000 Hilton Honors members stayed at Hilton Las Vegas Casinos last year. Too bad we won't be coming back.

We checked in late on a Monday night (about midnight). the front desk clerk was quite aloof and looked at us as if we were insane when we asked for the room number again (as she was very quick with her speech). I am a little miffed that all I would have had to do is BRIBE the front desk to get a better room -- that practice seems shady, but it would offer a better view than the back of the Aladdin and its parking lot. There was a used towel on the back of the door on check-in and the mirror on the door was spotted with water spots. We called to have housekeeping come up while we checked out the casino, but they never came. I believe the sheets were unwashed also, and no one seemed too anxious to bring up a new pillow for us. The comps were decent, and I love the atmosphere, but I would not stay there again. I definitely prefer New York New York! (or MGM or even Caesars)

excellent service, exceptional service from the two front desk agents named Chris and Milos, who work at night. They were very kind, friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable about the hotel. They are valuable assets to the hotel and because of them and only them we will continue to visit the paris every time. If you go visit the hotel, be sure to see Chris and Milos. They are the most handsome agents working there, you shouldn't have trouble finding them.

I have been staying at the Paris almost exclusively since they opened, about two to four Las Vegas trips per year. I love the atmosphere here -- kind of a cleaned-up Disney version of the French city. When you walk into the casino, the surroundings aren't riotous and chaotic, as they are at many casinos. It just feels kind of nice and calming. The rooms are nice, the restaurants pretty good, and, if you like buffets, the Paris has the best I've tried. Every visit has been good.

But there's something bothering me just a little now: I went in March for my 50th birthday -- a BIG DAY for me, and I chose to spend it at the Paris. When the floor boss at a blackjack table took my player's card to rate me on the morning of my birthday, he saw (I guess they scan the card) that it was my birthday, and he said "Happy birthday." Now, that's okay. Nice to be acknowledged on your birthday. I wasn't expecting that, or anything else, but since he DID know, couldn't he have at least offered a lunch buffet or something? I probably wouldn't even have used it; it just seems like it would have been good basic customer relations, considering the number of times I've been there and the amount of money I've dropped there. I don't ask for free stuff or upgrades -- that just isn't my personality. But under the circumstances, it did bug me somewhat. The only reason I'm adding this review is in the hopes that management in the hotels/casinos read these reviews to see how they can do better. Paris, you could do better!

Because of that non-incident, I stayed at the MGM Grand on my following visit in May 2004. While I didn't much care for the atmosphere there, the floor boss comped me a buffet just for no reason at all except that I had spent all morning playing blackjack. It was a nice gesture. It didn't cost the MGM anything really, and it gained them a lot of goodwill from me.

Took my niece to Vegas for her 21st birthday and had a Suite at this hotel. Loved it. Was one of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Huge, and very the decor was beautiful. Only problem I had with this casino was it was very crowded on the walkways, and the waits at the eating establishments were long.

I recommend the Paris for occasional Vegas visitors looking for upscale accomodations and restaurants. I booked my first stay at Paris through the hotel's website which offered a nice discount on rooms midweek. Glad I did, although my stay started out a bit rocky. I had booked a premiere room because of the relatively reasonable rate. When I arrived at 2:30 pm (about a half an hour before the published check in time, I was processed quickly, given a players club card at the time I checked in by the desk agent which was a nice touch, but my room was not ready and I was told to check back in an hour. I played in the casino for a while, lost a fair amount of dough on video poker and returned to the front desk at about 3:30. I was told my room was still not ready. Tried again at about 4 pm. Same story. I couldn't believe that on a Monday, the housekeeping staff couldn't finish a room promised to a patron who had checked in. The desk agent said she would check with her supervisor, and she returned and said she could give me a different room. The room I got was inferior to the one I was going to be given (Not a "P" room as I had originally been booked in), it had two beds instead of one and was smaller. (I know because I peaked into the P room down the hall that I had originally been booked in when housekeeping had the door open.) However, the view was excellent (bellagio fountains and eiffel tower), and the quality of the room is on par with other high end resorts. Not as good as Rio, Venetian or Bellagio, but nice. They are chintzy on the room amenities: conditioning shampoo, soap, bath gel, which were not replaced daily. Otherwise, housekeeping did a very nice job. Mostly ate at the cafe, and although I usually hate buffets, even those that are raved about, I did the Paris buffet twice, (lunch and dinner), and it was truly outstanding, although very pricey. I didn't find all hotel staff particularly friendly or helpful, but the casino desk personnel was very good, the wait staff in the restaurants and bars was pretty good, although host/hostess desks in buffet and cafe were both not very nice on all occasions I visited, and in both cases pretty inefficient. Casino personnel were very friendly. I had unbelievable luck in the casino on quarter poker slots. Three royals in three days! However, beware the pay tables if vp is your game. Some of them are real rip offs. Cocktail service in casino not very prevalent but the waitresses who were there were friendly and efficient considering the ground they had to cover. Just not enough of them. Nice to have Bally's connected by the cute shopping and restaurant promenade. Excellent location, with easy access to Bellagio, Caesars and other nearby casinos. My comps at the end of the stay were quite good, but of course I won a lot, so I played more than usual which probably accounted for that. The theme is carried out well at the casino. Not over the top but fun. I appreciated that it wasn't extraordinarily loud. Heading back next month.

The P98 room we had for 11 nights was outstanding ! We saw the Bellagio fountains every night from our window along with the lighted tower. The service was very good, the street performers were entertaining, the bell staff very good and the casino has an open-outdoor feeling under the sky. (The painted ceiling looks very real !) We were disappointed in the $1.25 charge per phone call and additional charge for long distance--way too much.
We really liked the link to the Bally hotel. this is a well appointed hotel with a real feeling of being in a French area--even though we are not French fans ! This is a very nice hotel with outstanding desserts (high priced). The casino is very comfortable with very good service. We would stay here again.
