The rate was so low, unbelieveable for a jr suite. Found it last minute to stay an extra night in vegas for a concert. Brand new resort-like bldgs. Felt like i was staying in palm springs. Huge jr suite with big tv, kitchen, table and chairs, sofa and love seat with coffee table. Big room. Very nice bathroom with separate toilet area and nice shower. Very quiet hallways and virtually no noise from other guests in the same hall. Parking near the bldg you stayed in. Very comfortable beds and the heat/ac worked very quickly in rooms. I once stayed in rio which is all suites as well, and this measured very close to rio. Very close to the major hotels on the strip which was a huge plus in my book. Also allowed a short cut on the back road koval to cut out traffic from the strip. They have a 24 hr cafe which has a late night menu for a quick bite to eat when everywhere else is closed. Overall very very nice to stay. Would definitely stay there again, no doubt.

I go to Vegas to work two times a year. This trip when I went to book a room most of the "suite" places, like Candlewood, Homestead, etc had gone way up in price. I was able to get a $99 a night average rate at the Tuscan. I always rent a car which made the location perfect for me. Close enough to the strip but also far enough away. If you're not renting a car this could be an issue.
It was cool the first night but my air conditioner seemed to be working less than right. I called the next morning and went out for a few hours and the whole unit had been replaced and the room was really cold. What you need in Vegas. The small fridge, microwave and coffee pot with new coffee packs everyday was nice. I'm not sure why they have the stove since there is no cookware or utensils. Not a big deal for me but if you're planning on cooking you should know that you'll have to buy something to cook in.
The casino is small but I did hit four deuces on spin poker and won some money. The Vegas slots must have loosened up because I hit often enough on VP and slots to come home with a little more money than I took.
I will definitely check out the Tuscany for my next trip. I didn't eat there but enjoyed my stay. The rooms are nice and large, well equpped and had everything I needed.

In and of itself, Tuscany is fine. The rooms are large, the grounds well kept and the crowds small, as is the casino. If you are a Vegas strip meister, it's about a 15 minute walk which you probably need to work off all the food and drink consumed. I would rate Tuscany as a good value, with respectable restaurants and ammenities. The Concierge was readily available, professional and friendly and the check in and check out lines were very managable to non-existent. We were there February 19-23 2006, with temperatures not warm enough to enjoy the pool and surrounding ambience.
The room has a kitchenette, table for four, comfortable couch and chair and a large bathroom with both a shower and separate bath tub, and yes, a loud exhaust fan in the toilet room. No worries. Though the kitchenette had two stove burners, small refrigerator and ample cabinets, there were no utensels, pots, pans, silverware, etc. to use. I never checked to see if those items were available. A coffee pot, ironong board, iron and hair dryer all there for you to take advantage of. We could never figure out how to open or use the safe, but didn't have enough cash to worry about. In the casino, we had a few decent hits on the slots but there is only one Roulette table, if that is your gambling weakness. A short distance up the street is the Westin, which has 25 cent Roulette (also one table) from 5:00 to 10:00. You can tell I'm a big gambler. Join the Players Club at Tuscany (short lines) to take advantage of some extras making the casino experience enjoyable. Wopuld I stay there again?....yes, what's not to love. Would I rather be on the strip?...... maybe for convenience, but I'm fine with lack 'o big crowds, etc. Everyone was friendly, rooms were sizeable, no long lines, got my execise, plenty of cabs, Marylin's served a decent breakfast..... Not Bad at all!

Stayed three nights at The Tuscany. Treated well by hotel and casino staff.
Suite rooms were very nice, large clean and comfortable. I have leg problems so the walk from the apartment like buildings to the casino and restaurant was tough for me, but not so bad if you are able to walk. The casino was a little more lively than in the past and our casino host was eager to please. The slots were fun and the table games were still kind of slow. I really hope this place catches on with more players. This can be a great place. Food was very good in the restaurants and service was friendly. We will be back.

I GO TO VEGAS EACH YEAR FOR A CONVENTION, AND HAVE STAYED AT THE TUSCANY THE PAST TWO. I LOVE THE SIZE OF THE ROOMS, AND THE FACT THAT THEY HAVE A KITCHEN AREA. THE LOCATION IS GREAT IF YOU RENT A CAR...I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU DO AS CAB FARES COULD END UP COSTING YOU MORE IN THE LONG RUN. THE DOWNFALL THAT I'VE FOUND IS THAT YOUR ROOM COULD BE (AND WAS) QUITE A WAYS FROM THE CASINO. THE DEALERS WERE VERY HELPFUL AND HAD NO PROBLEM EXPLAINING CRAPS TO MY WIFE. I WOULD GIVE THEM A THUMBS UP FOR AN OVERALL STAY.

Wow! What a great find. After enduring visits to Strip hotels with long check-in and check-out lines, small but expensive rooms and annoying crowds, this place was a nice surprise. Check-in took less than 2 minutes and we had a nice short walk through lush landscaping to our huge room. The rooms are really nice and clean, although we would have preferred a king size bed to the two doubles that we were provided. The kitchen is a nice feature as we were able to keep some refreshments in the fridge. The hotel has a beautiful lobby and very nice pool area. The casino is unusual in that it lets in outside light. The staff throughout the hotel and casino were especially helpful and friendly--even the craps dealers! The location is a huge plus. It's a very short walk to restaurants, convenience stores, the Strip and the Hard Rock. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at the Tuscany. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. The bath was large, with a separate room for the toilet. The casino is small compared to the large hotels on the strip, but it was nice. The staff was friendly too. It is located just a a block or two from the strip, so it's pretty easy access. We would stay there again.

The hotel is nice albeit overpriced. The casino is a total rip off. The Mexican restaurant will give you a bellyache.

we were not sure what to get after reading some of the comments. this a great
place to stay . we don't like the big hotel thing any more. it was quiet at night so you were able to get some sleep when needed.I tip $10.00 at the front desk and got a room close to the pool some buildings are very far away from the pool and casino. the rooms are very -very large. nice to have a fridge and a coffee maker in a room in vegas. would stay here again and again. we found our room to be very clean and quit maid service in morning

First time I've been to Las Vegas, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. Pretty much a basic motel room,
but bigger. Got stuck in a smoking room, but wife and I are not smokers. Insert usual gripe about
smoke odor here. No problems with maid service (plenty o' towels, washclothes, etc.), but shower door
wouldn't close properly and fan for shower and bath didn't work. Oh well. Shower is separate from
bathtub and the toilet is in its own little room (and the fan worked fine in there-thank you). Marilyn's
coffee shop was OK-coffee refills slow to non-existant-first day had some of the best orange juice I've
tasted, second day back to basic ol' oj, but they refilled it! That was a first. It is a hike to the strip,
about two Las Vegas blocks. Wear your good comfy shoes if you plan on walking. Tourist note: you will
walk by the intersection where the rap artist Tupac Shakur was murdered a few years ago (Koval Lane
and Flamingo), but the neighborhood is nothing to be afraid of. Very busy intersection, go on the walk
signal, stay put on don't walk and watch out for those wild and crazy taxi drivers. Bring lots of one
dollar bills for tips. We would stay there again, but the next time we go we'll stay on the strip.

Did not stay at the hotel but visited the casino. It was easy parking and just a short walk into the casino. Visited on a Saturday night and the casino was empty, plenty of slots and seats at the tables were available, don't know if its always like this but I overheard a pit boss complaining how dead it was.If you like your gaming slow paced maybe this is where to go.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It was nice to be able to park your car and be in your room in under a minute. The room was spacious and clean. I would imagine that the complaints about the rooms were more than likely smoking rooms which I have always found to be worse off than non-smoking rooms even in high-end hotels.

The location to me was as good as you could get and not actually be on the strip. It's about a 1/2 mile from the heart of the strip and is nearby to a Target store if you have forgotten any essentials. If you have a car, I can not see staying any place else.

Now for the complaints. Upon checking in the staff was very friendly and professional with minimum waiting. However, like others have stated it was impossible to reach them via the room phone. Another thing was the maid service, for some reason the Tuscany maids believe you do not need new washcloths. They would take our used washclothes and then would not leave any new ones. So you wouldn't have any at all. This was a first for me in any class of hotel. I would have rather them just told us, "hey, we're low on washclothes so you guys will just have to suffice with the first ones we give you for your entire stay." I could have dealt with that rather than coming back from a full day of activities to a room with no washclothes. Another complaint is the excessive noise of the bathroom fan. There is no seperate light/fan switch so when you turn on the light the fan comes on sounding like a freight train. A late night or early morning bathroom trip will definitely wake up all but the heaviest sleepers.

Overall, I believe this is one of the best values in Las Vegas. The location is perfect from an off-strip perspective and it appears to attract good quality, quiet guests. I would definitely stay there again especially if I was renting a car. The lack of washclothes and front desk phone answering were minor issues for me but I can see how many would find these major issues and I would hope that Tuscany will soon tightened up this area of service.
