- Good Visit We stayed here for a month and we are coming back in 2006 to stay another month.
At $44.95 per night for a studio, you can't beat the value.
However, in order to get this rate you must stay at least 30 days.
Unfortunately, the price has gone up by 20 % for 2006 but what can you do.
I think that it's $54.95 per night if you book now.
The hotel is located near the corner of Tropicana and Paradise which is a 5 minute drive to the strip, (if traffic is light).
The hotel is spotless.
The halls are clean, the elevators are immaculate and the rooms are spotless.
In a studio you get a queen size bed, reclining chair, full size fridge, microwave oven, a cooktop, garbage disposal and a dishwasher.
You also get an iron and ironing board.
The bathroom is of an adequate size and you get a decent sized closet.
If you stay long-term rooms are only cleaned on a weekly basis.
Which is fine with me because I hate being disturbed daily by room service.
You can get fresh towels at the desk anytime that you want.
The hotel also has a pool, hot tub and 24 hour gym.
The gym here is as good as I've see in 5 star hotels.
The pool here doesn't compare to the Mandalay Bay but at least it's heated.
Parking is free and you are able to park near the various entrances to the hotel.
So you don't have to walk miles from your car to the room as in other strip hotels.
The hotel also has a convenience store and the items are reasonably priced.
Other than for emergencies, we chose to shop at Von's which is close by.
There is also a 24 hours Kinko's across the street.
I didn't bring my notebook computer so I used the Kinkos's to check my email and pay my bills on-line.
There are also numerous good restaurants along paradise for those people that don't wish to drive.
For people wishing to stay long-term, you cannot beat the value here.
