I've stayed at this property on multiple occasions. It's a little over 400 sq ft room- about the same size

as Mirage or TI (maybe a bit bigger), a bit smaller than average for the Strip. It's comfortably furnished,

with what I found to be a VERY comfortable duvet and fluffy pillows, separate bathtub and shower (the

bathtub isn't too large, however). The room has free Internet and bottled water (two things you

regularly get dinged for at other hotels). The room service is good- tasty club sandwiches and burgers

and fast. The pool is indeed small and not a reason you should go there. The Renaissance has easy

access to Wynn via a tram across the street, and other casinos via the Convention Center Monorail

station about 150 yards up Paradise Road. Checkin is always EXTREMELY fast for me (and I've waited in

lines at casinos at 11 pm opn a Friday...ugh...), and the service has always been great.

I can usually get this place at a significant discount on Priceline compared to other 4 star strip hotels

(usually half the rack rate Marriott advertises, and even more of a discount compared to rack rate at

Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo, Mirage, TI) , and I think it meets those standards (FWIW, it also has

AAA Four Diamond)- though it's obviously more of a business hotel than a leisure one, due to the

location next to the Convention Center and lack of casino- plus I can use charges to my room to give

me credit through Mariott Rewards. I'm not sure why the previous poster felt the way they did, but I'm

happy to use this hotel as an alternate to paying outrageous rates on some Vegas weekends, and if you

don't mind a little bit of a walk to your gambling or riding a monorail to the Strip, you might be as well

This place is an overpriced Motel 6. The beds where very hard and the service was very poor. It took the Housekeeping people 45 minutes to come up and change the broken Refrigerator. The Spa was a joke cold and the jets where all the way on the bottom and no pressure the sprinklers outside had more pressure. There is only Two hours of sun in the pool area. Also make sure you book a High floor someone on the Fourth floor was complaining at the front desk that the noise of the Monorail was to loud. The rooms are also very small, smaller than most Motel 6’s. I do not see how they could fit to double beds in the room it was that small.
