This Casino is small but a hopping place. Big party every night. The rooms was good. Obviously not the
Bellagio but the bed was comfortable, had a fridge and coffee maker as well. The location is awesome.
Mirage, Harrahs, Venetian, Imperial Palace, and Oshea's all within walking distance.. $1 Micholbs and
margaritas all the time. Also drinks that are $11 at some casino's are a low as $2.50 here. Ask for a
room on the 3rd floor toward the back of the casino. You will get a quieter room if you do. If you don't
have to stay at the upscale casino's and are just looking for a clean place to lay your head try Casino
Royale.

I walked in here after a battle with steak and cheese grinder, which I lost by the way.....The toilets were in deplorable condition, all three stalls were flooded with stuff. Very embarassing. I told a worker and she didnt care. The only thing good about this place is the dollar drafts and the veggie burgers.Do yourself a favir and go to O`Sheas, they have a BK and sweet hoppers, if you need them.

Hey I have gambled here, never stayed here. What's with the one post about the bugs? Everybody else
who posted said it was clean. I am appalled at the prices for Strip hotels and may stay here in may for
the cheap rate. So are the rooms clean or not and does the shower work well?
That's all I care about. The shower, the climate in the room and no bugs.

Normally I don't rate places that I haven't stayed at, but the Casino Royale is just the most awesome place in Las Vegas. SOOOOO much fun!!! Really cheap bar, great rules on the table games (100x odds on craps!!!!), optimal location, and just a tremendous general party vibe. It's all about the Casino Royale.

We stayed in an expensive suite in Mirage across the street, but spent all of our time at Casino Royale!! It was my first experience playing blackjack switch and I can't wait to go back next month! Hubby liked it becuase he could play "Craps on his crapper" lol (sitting down). We will be staying at the Casino Royale Hotel this time...another poster was right...all I do is sleep in my room. As long as it's clean and comfortable, I would rather spend my money at the blackjack tables and shows. Location, Location, Location! Those timeshare guys can be a nuisance, but you have to just be firm with them without being nasty....they have to earn a living too!

My room was fine for the price; clean and secure. The air conditioning system is terrible though. If it's October-March and they have the heating on, you may bake in this place because the rooms have no individual climate controls.

The casino is nice and cheap, with good gaming rules and lots of fun people watching opportunities. The best part about the hotel itself is that it's about 10 feet from the front door; which is on the strip. I would come back if my room was comped.

We stayed at the Casino Royale for 2 nights ariving on a Saturday night and staying until Monday. Both nights were comped up front from previous play there. It sits in a very good location on the strip. Walk out one door and there's the walkway to cross to the Mirage and the new entrance to Caeser's Forum Shops is right there too. Walk out the other side and you're right at the Venetian.

The casino is pretty small, but we love it for its pretty good VP pay-tables and of course the $1 Michelob's all the time. I like playing craps here, usually $2 or $3 minimums with 100X odds if you can afford them. The timeshare people at both their entrance and Harrah's entrance can get annoying, but they started to remember us and would leave us alone.

Rooms are OK, we had one on the 4th (top) floor. Had a small table with 2 chairs, decent bed and a nice little bar with a refrigerator under it that actually worked. Room was clean. Had a view of the Harrah's loading docks but the sliding window opened all the way so you could get fresh air in if you wanted. Room was nothing special but we would stay here again because we felt it was clean and comfortable.

Not much to choose from in the way of dining. They have a Subway and a Noble Romans pizza place, along with an Outback Steakhouse in the same building. If you gamble some you can get comps to any of these places. We had a $20 comp and used it for a few small pizza's and some breadsticks late one night.

All in all, not a bad place to stay but we were not paying for the rooms so that probably helped in our decision. We stayed the next two nights @ Imperial Palace and actually felt more comfortable in the Casino Royale rooms than we did in Imperial's. If you're not going to be lounging in the room all day it really can't be beat for a location, depending on where you like to play. It's about a 1 minute walk from any room the strip which is nice. Not many amenities here but if you don't need to be pampered and
want a nice, clean central base this is not a bad place to be.

Cochroaches in room # 120!!! We stayed on 7/24/04 and found many cochroaches in our room when returning from the casino at 4 am. When we spoke to the front desk about the incident, they were very unhelpful and didn't seem concerned. They were all booked up so we were forced to either stay with the filth or go to another hotel. Since it was Saturday night, we didn't have a place to stay and wound up coming home. We have contacted management, but have not received a return call. We would not stay at this hotel ever again.

I've visited Casino Royale several times over the years. Previously, I had a snobby attitude about the place and decided it wasn't "elegant" enough for me. Thankfully, I've come to my senses and decided that Casino Royale is a place for anyone who wants to have a good time and also experience the essence of "old Las Vegas" as I understand it to be.

My room was small but clean and well-maintained, with sort of a motel quality to it, but had everything I needed. The best thing about staying at Casino Royale is the incredibly easy access and low rate ($49/night during a convention week), so I cannot complain.

The casino itself is dark, with lots of neon and smoked mirror ceilings. No hand-woven Italian carpets or fancy European chefs here. This is a place for gambling, and the gambling is fun and cheap. $2 blackjack and up is the norm, and the crowd tends to be younger and unpretentious.

One can just imagine Dan Tanna cruising the joint!

This place is a nasty hole. Dirty. Dealers are terrible. They can't add to 21, so watch your own cash
flow at blackjack. The dealers paid me twice when I had lost but tried to take my money when I
pushed! Dirty casino, crowded, and tiny. A lousy excuse for a strip hotel. The location is good near
Mirage, TI, Impeial, and more. That is the only good thing about it.

I did not stay at this hotel (I stayed at the Mirage), but did stop in for low limit gambling. The location is great (next to Harrah's, across from the Mirage and TI), but the interior left much to be desired. I couldn't help but feel like I was in a trailer park the entire time I was inside. All it needed was the giant metallic ball on top the concrete pedestal to complete the decor. I can't complain about the service. A waitress greeted me with 5 minutes inside this casino. However, when I got my drink I felt like I was back at a college keg party. The least you could do is serve the drink in a glass (not a clear plastic cup). If you are looking for a place to gamble cheap, or get loaded cheap, pass this place up and head straight to the Barbary Coast. It is a much better atmosphere.
