- Undecided We didn't stay overnight at this hotel but we ate the $3.99 breakfast buffet; the waitstaff at the buffet was excellent, the service was fantastic and the breakfast buffet had very good sausage and other hot breakfast items including good grits. The breakfast buffet, though, did not have any small cereal boxes. The seating was comfortable and we had a booth overlooking the river. The outside of the Colorado Belle looks very shabby, though, but surprisingly the inside areas are very clean. The casino's slots were tight. We wandered around and looked at the pool areas; this hotel is probably not a good choice as it looked like the rooms and pool areas definitely needed some serious remodeling.

- Good Visit Stayed one night on the boat, very nice room, love the casino. Had dinner at Mark Twain, bad choice, food bad and over priced. However the breakfast buffett was really good. Have stayed here before and always ate at the PaddleWheel, good food, good service, and good prices. Was really disappointed with Mark Twain.

- Good Visit Not as goods as it was. The menu at the Breww Pub was changed for the worst, got rid of the $10 steak meal and the well not so good. My wife ordered chicken but it was only half cooked.
One thing has changed, this was the first time I had been told that if I played video poker at thje bar I had to play 3 coins or no drinks. I have played video poker at most ever bar in Las Vegas and Laughlin and have never been given a min bet. Go to the Trop Express and play at the nickle video poker at the bar and get served.
The casino was OK at first we were loosing badly but then we did our regular loose but not too fast and good service.

- Good Visit We used to stay here a long time ago, we usually stay at the Flamingo but we stayed here on our way home from Mo. The bed was very comfortable and the wife won a little money playing slots.

- Good Visit Stayed at the Colorado Belle from March 5-10, 2006. Shuttle picked us up from the airport and our luggage was brought to our rooms. This was a nice surprise as we didn't know they did that. Had called one week earlier to request connecting rooms, but this had not been done when we checked in. They were able to give us connecting rooms on the first floor. Rooms had 2 queen beds, large vanity in bathroom, showers only. Nothing fancy, but clean. We did have refrigerators in each room which came in handy. We were only a couple doors away from the pool, an outside exit and not too far from the casino. We had a nice view of the lights at night. Our last evening there, the bell desk called to tell us what time our luggage had to be ready to be picked up, and what time our shuttle left for the airport. We didn't have much luck gambling there, but didn't have much luck anywhere else in Laughlin either this trip. I would certainly stay there again.

- Good Visit I have been a frequent visitor to the CB for a few years now. Why? They always give me a free room and other comps. My last visit, Oct 2005, they actually gave me a Lanai suite and even let me check in at 11am. The gambling was terrible, however, the worst I've ever seen here. An employee told me it's that way everywhere in Laughlin now. The turn-out and drop are way down. The machines were the coldest I've ever seen them. Still, a great place to come and relax. The Orleans Room cant be beat for casual, fine dining and the beer in the Boiler Room is as tasty as ever(I do miss Matt though : ( Beertender Extraordinaire!)
Bottom line: If you're a player, no one is more generous than the Colorado belle. Every month you will receive comp and promotion offers in the mail. You'll never pay for a room or drinks.
(Update 2/10/06-2/12/06)
Well, the casino action is still WAY off. No one was winning anything significant. I did overhear other players complaining about the tight casino. Most seem to give up after $300-$500 in. We did try another casino, The Regency, with similar results: poor to bad. Oh well.
The comps are better than ever, however. I was given a card for free food and drinks in any CB restaurant, snack shop or bar. My date and I ran up a $200+ bill in the Orleans Room, all paid for by the casino, including 3 bottles of champagne. Very nice! We were also given a 2nd story river view balconey room.
All in all, The CB is STILL a wonderful place to stay. Just keep the casino action to a minimum. The payout these days is very bad, here and elsewhere in Laughlin, unfortunately.
(Update: 5/30/06)
OK, the payout is still waaaay off. It seems whenever Kirk Kerkorian buys a casino, he ruins it. Any casino that MGM Grand Group takes over the casino gets very tight, whereas before they were loose. I gave up and went to the River Palms which still has a fair casino.
Bottom line: the CB is a nice place to stay only. Gamble elsewhere.

- Good Visit It must have been 120 degrees in Laughlin when I arrived, and it felt like a blast furnace. The Belle's A/C was absolutely cold, and I was very comfortable throughout the hotel and casino. The room rates can't be beat during the summer, and in fact they offer comps freely just to keep you there and playing. My room was in the "Bourbon Tower", first floor. It was a major hike from the front desk to my room, but when I got there I was very pleasantly surprised. My room was EXTREMELY CLEAN, and decorated just as I figured this themed property would do it. (colorful) I found no ashtrays in my 'smoking' room, and phoned housekeeping to ask if I was actually in a 'smoking' room, since it smelled so fresh. I was indeed in a 'smoking' room, and ashtrays were delivered promptly. My room had a view of the pool, and that was a delight, but it was too damned hot to go out there. My room was in a very quiet location too, and no noise from the pool area or other guests were noticed. As for the restaurants, they were absolutely mediocre in every way. I ate at the Edgewater next door (same company)and enjoyed some excellent meals and service. The Prime Rib special was an outstanding value! The gaming at the Belle was very productive and the slots were loose for me, and I was lucky at Keno too. (It paid for my entire stay w/meals.) The River Taxi was actually an inexpensive, refreshing way to get some outdoor air and see the rest of Laughlin while staying cool on the water. OK, THE BOTTOM LINE IS: Rooms and Service~ Excellent. Dining~ It was McFood. Location to everything else in town~ Primo! Right in the center. I'll be back to stay and gamble at the Belle soon, but I won't eat there. It's INEXPENSIVE.

- Bad Visit I was happy with my stay until finding out how much they charged me for a long distance call. A 17 minute 9 second call to Canada at 8:00 P.M. cost me $51.55. They same call would have cost $12.50 at the next hotel I stayed at, (Sams Town in Las Vegas). I complained to
the lady at check out but she assured me there was no mistake, and that was the cost. I'm confused by that. Why ruin a pretty good stay with a charge like that?

- Good Visit I always stay on the 'Boat' The boat rooms are much better than the tower rooms. The suites and great too. Big bath tub, shower is great with handheld and 6 wall jets. Living room, bar area two tv's. Upgrade upon check in. We usually get the upgrade free. The restaurants are not too good. Go next door to the coffee shop at the edgewater. I have stayed at this property many times and will continue. Great get away.

- Undecided I can’t really decide what to say…….I mean I guess I expected more, but for $45 a night on the weekend I guess you get what you pay for…..Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that bad, just think I expected more…….Room: Nice and fairly clean, but older and showed it’s wear(little mildew in the shower door tracks…)…(maybe the public bathroom style soap dispenser in the middle of the bathroom mirror should have told me something)…..Casino:….Decent…low table minimum was nice to keep the weekend cheap…. Dining: Ate dinner one night at the Boiler Room (new brewpub)….pretty good and reasonably priced, Breakfast 2 days at the Paddlewheel….pretty good and also reasonably priced…..Maybe my biggest turn off was all the kids (but again what should I expect)…..Also checkout was horrible….only 2 elevators our of 6 in the Orleans Tower were working….…..

I have to say I was overall disappointed with this hotel. I can't be TOO harsh because it was cheap, but all things considered I should have paid a little more to stay somewhere else in Laughlin (I considered Harrah's, the Flamingo and Ramada Express).
POSITIVES: The price was right, check in was speedy (despite the long line), slots were looser than in LV
NEGATIVES: POOL! FILTHY!!! Too many kids (why don't hotels have an "adults only" pool?) I was totally IGNORED at the new brewpub restaurant. And it's splitting hairs, but why no soap in the shower? I mean, if Motel 6 can give you a complimentary soap, why not this place. Finally, I was given a room with a great view--a brick WALL.
This was my first visit to Laughlin. It will probably be my last. I was not impressed with the town, or this hotel, when all was said and done.

The check in was fast and easy. the room were a bit of a walk from the check in but hey i had on my walking shoes. Rooms were good, not real big and not real fancy but just what you need for a good night sleep . Rooms were clean and staff was willing to do anything for you if you just ask.
the location is the best right in the center of it all in Laughlin. The brew pub is a great place to eat and try some homemade brews .
