Anotherr visit to the Edgewater casinoand it was enjoyable. The drink service is better than I remember ab=nd the casino paid better. No big winners but enough to keep you interested.



We did not stay at the Edgewater bit we did play some we should have stopped with that. We made the mistake of goingto Coco's for breakfest the service was horrible. The server either couldn't write the orders up or the cook could read. I almost got waht I ordered bacon instead of sausage but my wife sorry a total screw up. The server went around us several times I finally atemy breakfest before it got cold but my wife'snever came. We finally just wanted to get out of there andthe server took the mealoffthe bill but the day was a mess. The only up side was that we were not the only ones who got screwed by her. We willnevermake the mistake ofgoing to Coco's again.

We stayed several times over the winter, and each visit was better then the previous! The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds... we had 2- different suites and enjoyed them even though they were very different. Food at The Hickory Pit is well worth the price, and they have a decent Buffet. Gambling....had fun, lots of different machines and we had good luck. The bar along the Riverwalk is a great place to relax and play....good luck trying to get a seat.If you have never tried Edgewater...GO FOR IT....I can't wait til this snowbird heads back in the Fall.

We did not stay here but we did play here. We usually don't play here as in the past we had no luck here and found the service marginal, but this time it was different. Not that we won big but we were able to play for a long time before lossing. I did hit a couple of $50 so I was happy about the experience. The drink service was also better than I remember in the past the new owners may care about customers.

Well we are back at the Edgewater, we had a nice stay this time. We used to stay at the Flamingo but since it changed hands to the Aquerius we won't be staying there any more. The room at the Edgewater was very nice and comfortable. We stayed in the new tower and enjoyed it very much. The food at the Edgewater was very good and the help was plesant. Thanks, we will be back soon.

My wife and I had a very decent time this trip. The dealers were alot friendlier than a couple of the other casinos that we visited, and the machines seemed to be a bit more loose. The only drawback might be the paperthin walls. I'm not sure that we needed to hear our neighbor's negotiations and subsequent employment of a prostitute at 0630 BOTH MORNINGS!

The most unfriendly casino we have ever visited. Your staff has to learn that we are there to SPEND MONEY and people enjoy a friendly "smile" once in awhile. NO ONE SMILES!!! Why are they all so angry. We had to wait for everything and everyone. What is your problem. The rooms and the casino "smell dirty" and "look dirty". Your front desk staff called us the day before we left and told us our flight was leaving 3 HOURS earlier (the next morning) and after I questioned it 3 TIMES!, she got very angry and said "that's what she was told". Sitting at the airport for 4 hours before our flight departed was not a happy time. NO....we won't be back. We will however, come back to the Golden Nugget or Harrah's. You just lost some big spenders!!!!

WE stayed three nights in September and had a wonderful time. We stayed during the Pro Bull Riding show. We got a Thur./Fri./Sat. night stay for $69 and that included two tickets to Fri. nights PBR show. Excellent value 10+. The room was in the Monterey tower and after reading some of these posts we were pleasantly surprised with the room. The room was more than adequate and clean. My only complaint was with the hot water. Sometimes not very hot and one had to wait for it. We ate in their coffee shop twice for breakfast and it was excellent at a very good price. We had the buffet twice for dinner and that was excellent also. We can't wait to go back to the Edgewater.

I have a mentally disadvantaged daughter who loves to be with her dad in the casino (me). I play craps and she has always wanted to try. She is dwarfed but standing by the stickman can throw O.K. Well the crew at the Edgewater and all the guests let her throw after verifying her age(25) She started slow but with the crew and customers edging her on she had one of the better rolls of the afternoon. She went to her room when she finally sevened out and waited until I was finished. She was smart enough to be waiting at the door with her hand out when I arrived (I'm sure it was her mom's idea) I gave her a $100.00 as commission for her making me money. That's just one of the many good times at the Edgewater.

My husband, myself and my mother stayed at the Edgewater for 2 nites on the special deal of 8.00 a nite...we were on the lst floor and had everything around us..had a great time...the service in the casino was the best...the cocktail waitresses and the change people in the cages were really great..everyone was people friendly...we didn't even leave to go on the water taxi to one of the other casino's...just had a great time...
