The pool is small and crowded, in addition to being swamped with kids.

The atmosphere here is WONDERFUL!! While our overall stay at the Wynn was disappointing, their pool was fantastic. It is clean, quiet and feels very private.
Our cocktail service was excellent.
We each got a Yogurt Parfait (to go) from the restaurant inside. It was more than we could eat and having it poolside was the ultimate vacation breakfast.
The pool alone was worth the price of our room.

Huge pool. Has an actual deep end that is over 10' deep. Only downfall, in my opnion, was that there was no music poolside. Made for a rather dull experience

Pool at Sahara Hotel and Casino

Month Visited: 03/07
One of my favorite pools in Vegas. Not only is it HUGE (5,000 sq feet) but it is comfortably heated...nothing worse than jumping into a freezing pool on a beautiful day! The pool has a ledge built into the inside of the pool down the two long sides, making it wonderful to just sit in the water during the "warmer" months.
The jacuzzi seats at least 10 people and is a gathering spot for folks to trade "ratings" on restaurants and shows.
If you are looking for the "beautiful people" to hang with - this is NOT your pool. Lots of middle aged, friendly folks and little or no hard bodies.
Drink service is available chairside (cocktail waitress) or a short stroll over to the pool bar with a $2 tip will get you a friendly bartender and a killer frozen drink (it is a full service bar and prices are consistant with casino drink prices).
I rented a cabana last summer. $10 gets you a plain cabana with 2 lounge chairs, 2 chairs, a table and a cooler full of ice and bottled water (I purchased some bottled iced teas from the gift shop and tossed them into the cooler).
Unlike some other casinos, there are plenty of shade trees around the pool, so I only rented a cabana so the galpals and I could play a cards in shady privacy.
The only down side is: make sure you bring sandals/shoes, as this is an older pool and the concrete deck surrounding the pool can get VERY toasty on your tootsies!
Will I go back? - You bet! I have reservations in 3 weeks for 2 nights, so I can work on my tan in happy bliss here!

Pool at Mandalay Bay

Month Visited: 03/07
Mandalay Bay is upgrading one of its pools.....good idea, I guess. BUT, while we were there, poolside space was hard to find, unless you went to line up at 8:00 a.m. as my husband did one day. I don't know why they don't do these remodels during the winter months....far fewer people pooside in Decmeber as opposed to spring break. Until the new pool is opened this summer, be prepared to line up EARLY in order to get a chaise lounge.

The MGM has MANY pools! Like a water park. There is an adult only pool, which is nice because there are many children at the other pools. I enjoyed laying out around the lazy river pool, because you can get in quickly if you get hot, and you get to people watch! There are big waterfalls, and all kinds of fun stuff. We met up with some people that let us hang out in one of the many cabanas that you can rent out, which have personal waitresses and massage therapists. Very nice!

What a great pool - It literally is the oasis in a desert - loads of greenery - birds singing, waterfalls,
hottubs what more could you want.
This was 10x better than the pools at the Aladdin.

This is the best pool we have found on the strip out of 4 visits so far. There are 5 pools to choose from. There is an adult only pool and also a lazy river. Plenty of lounge chairs, lots of shade when needed and a pool side cafe. A very relaxing and enjoyable place.

Pool is heated and very nice. The shark tank is fantastic and the pool bar is right on the money. We spent alot of time with friends and family sitting around the pool and hot tub throwing down a few beverages. They even have a few table games to add to the entertainment.
