Our hotel towers and spires provide a colorful backdrop for The Sahara's sparkling 5,000-square-foot outdoor pool. Nestled near the heart of the property and known as one of the Las Vegas Strip's best-kept secrets, our refreshing pool features poolside drink and towel service, a gazebo-covered Jacuzzi, circular fountains, and a snack bar stocked with tropical refreshments.
The pool is also complemented by eight private cabanas, which provide welcome shade and privacy for those more interested in lounging poolside than getting some sun. Affordable cabana rentals are available in person at the gift shop or by calling the gift shop through the hotel operator at 702-737-2111

Pool at Sahara Hotel and Casino
Month of Visit: 03/07
- Good Visit One of my favorite pools in Vegas. Not only is it HUGE (5,000 sq feet) but it is comfortably heated...nothing worse than jumping into a freezing pool on a beautiful day! The pool has a ledge built into the inside of the pool down the two long sides, making it wonderful to just sit in the water during the "warmer" months.
The jacuzzi seats at least 10 people and is a gathering spot for folks to trade "ratings" on restaurants and shows.
If you are looking for the "beautiful people" to hang with - this is NOT your pool. Lots of middle aged, friendly folks and little or no hard bodies.
Drink service is available chairside (cocktail waitress) or a short stroll over to the pool bar with a $2 tip will get you a friendly bartender and a killer frozen drink (it is a full service bar and prices are consistant with casino drink prices).
I rented a cabana last summer. $10 gets you a plain cabana with 2 lounge chairs, 2 chairs, a table and a cooler full of ice and bottled water (I purchased some bottled iced teas from the gift shop and tossed them into the cooler).
Unlike some other casinos, there are plenty of shade trees around the pool, so I only rented a cabana so the galpals and I could play a cards in shady privacy.
The only down side is: make sure you bring sandals/shoes, as this is an older pool and the concrete deck surrounding the pool can get VERY toasty on your tootsies!
Will I go back? - You bet! I have reservations in 3 weeks for 2 nights, so I can work on my tan in happy bliss here!
