- Good Visit Only bettered by the Four Seasons pool. This is a great place to be while in Vegas. Only trouble is, it's so
good everyone is there. You'll need to get down there early to get a spot, otherwise you'll be hanging
around with everyone else who go up late looking for somewhere to sit. Weekends are a nightmare, as the
place is packed out. So if you're a late starter or have a large group, not the best idea. But still a great
place and 2nd best pool on the strip (if it's empty).

- Good Visit The Mandalay bay has done excellent in making the pool area exciting and secure. There are about 4 or 5 pools open to the public. A wave pool, a circular pool with rotating current flow in an anti clockwise direction it is easy to believe it is realxing just floating round, yet it currents stimulates activity as it flows round.
Then there are two other quiet pools which are very relaxing round the back.
Sadly the pool areas are so popular it is dificult to find a place to sun bathe.
The wave pool has a glass fronted casino in front of it open during pool hours.
The old pool was open one day while I was there and was ideal for people who enjoy the quiet and peace and avoided activity. I do hope they keep the old pool open as it can be used when the hotel is full adn then fulfill every ones needs.

- Good Visit Mandalay Bay is upgrading one of its pools.....good idea, I guess. BUT, while we were there, poolside space was hard to find, unless you went to line up at 8:00 a.m. as my husband did one day. I don't know why they don't do these remodels during the winter months....far fewer people pooside in Decmeber as opposed to spring break. Until the new pool is opened this summer, be prepared to line up EARLY in order to get a chaise lounge.
